Internships Opportunities

College does provied internship. But when u comes to final year we have do internship in some compines outside.

Placement Experience

Many reputed national and multinational companies visit our institute for campus recruitment annually because of our high quality research, excellent facilities and talented students. On an average, 75 to 80% of eligible students were placed in last 3 years. The college has established good understanding with top companies like TCS, Mind Tree, Accenture, Infosys, IBM, L & T, JSW, Triveni Turbines Ltd. and others. Placement cell also organizes industrial training sessions for the placed students just before they join the respective industry.

College Events

4.5

Every month 2 to 3 events will be conducted from every branch. And main celebration called DAVANA. it will be celeberarted in the month of march. It will be for 3 days. Students will bid food stalls and they will sell the food. And there is no more event called ETHNIC DAY .

Campus Life

Ratio is almost same. Students comes for very part in india. There is no Racial and gender discrimination no religion discrimination no sexual orientation,no politics in collage. Everything is good and fantastic in college. BIET has been in the forefront of activities bringing both corporate and companies close to the campus and encouraging them to establish facilities to cater to the needs of both students and faculty.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty in my collage is very good. We have got great faculty many of them ph.d. They have great expernienc. We have well furnished and equiped labs.Four staff members have doctoral degree and two are pursuing. They are regularly updated towards modern techniques and industrial needs. All the staff members encourage the students for their all round development.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

"BIET Davanagere: A Hub of Opportunities with Room for Improvement"

The main reason behind I opted this college is that I am a native of Davangere and also this college gives the numerous placements as I received from the seniors. I also apllied for BVB college, but my first preference is BIET. Compared to BVB, Biet provides huge placements than BIET. But due to my family concern I opted this college. I have no rejection from any of the colleges as my rand is low(9590) which I have got many top colleges. But due to some reasons I sticked to BIET. Admission of the students is done through exams like CET, COMEDK and also management. Most of the students come through CET and the cutoff for CET is around 25000. Overall admission is usual as other colleges....Read More
