Remarks

All the positive remarks i have already mentioned in above part of this answer. As far as negative remarks are concerned, they are few in number. The administration of the college is not so helpful. Moreover, you will require to find every information by yourself, there is nobody to assist you in this even if you are a new one. Moreover, the ground of college is very small as compared to other colleges but it is being developed.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

In my opinion, course curriculum should be more practical rather than just being limited to theoretical knowledge, more specifically in subjects like political science which comes under humanities and doesn't include practical work. Practical knowledge here, i mean to say by organising mock parliament, visiting institutional office, political parties and so on. Moreover, exams are very well organized and it is very easy to fetch good marks if you study quite adequately

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement depends upon the speaking and communication skills of the students. The placement cell of college, CYFLE, provides a platform to the students and act as an informer to students about available internship And job interview. It also organises campus selection for final year students.

College Events

3

Events are being organized all around the year in college, but during the months of January to March, the frequency increases due to fest organized by most of the departments and different societies. Moreover, our college fest takes place in Feb-march and is one of the best in Delhi University.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible but is higher than the other state owned Universities. The fee of every course of college resides between 10,000 to 15,000 rupees. However, this amount is much less than the available facilities as it is under one of the most important central university.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college campus also includes a bank. There is also a scholarship as well as financial assistance for the students belonging to below poverty line and needy students. The college also promote the merit of students by providing different kind of scholarships during studies if they are exceptionally well in their studies

Campus Life

3

There is a good environment of extracurricular activities. The college enjoys a supreme position in extracurricular activities whether it be sports, debate, quizzes ,drama and so on. There is quality infrastructure with respect to the labs, gym, sports room , etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not so strong within the college. You will never listen about any kind of alumni meet nor they come to college. The reason for this may be that it is an off campus college of Delhi University and doesn't enjoys supreme position.

Admission

For taking admission in any college of Delhi University, one have to first complete the online registration@www.du.ac.in which comes around the month of May every year. Then, the cut off of different colleges comes and if you meet the required cutoff, you can go to the same college and get your documents verified and finally complete your admission after paying the fee. I also followed the same procedure. However, i changed my college twice which can be done during cutoff if you change your mind with respect of selected college and course.

Faculty

4

Faculties of the college are marvellous. They help not only in their concerned paper but also regarding career counseling, competitive exam patterns and a broad view of the subject. They try to motivate students all the time and put their full effort in making students understand and clear the doubts regarding their subject.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.
