Remarks

Overly it is good college but the college is old. The class do have air conditioning but infrastructure is quite spooky. There are two buildings of the college. The new one is good and well constructed. College management is relatively friendly and there to help all the time. The culture events are fabulous success every year and old trends are always followed. Highly recommended college for Computer and electronic engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is design by University of Mumbai. The course curriculum is satisfactory. The research scope is little low but the placement cell is very active. Training and webinar are conducted to make students ready for placements. One industrial visit is arranged by every department of the college. A yearly college trip is also arranged.

Placement Experience

4

The placement department of tsec is good as compare to other colleges. About 50% of the total graduating students opt for placement and other go for further studies. Out of this 50% about 40% qualify and 30-35% of student are selected. I would say that students wanting the just job mostly get the placement anyhow. Moreover, during the course placement cell often refer students for internship program of different companies. Student even have pre-placement offers in their hand. The placement cell prepare students from 3rd year of 4 year engineering course by giving mock interview, aptitude test and training programs.

College Events

4.5

There are main committee events which are for just the college like Traditional day, Trifles which is huge and has DJ night, Comedy night and BE dance. Famous celebrities are often invited. This is the cultural event. Each festival is celebrated well at the college. Moreover, every department has their own committee which has annual events which are technical and inter college. So, students from different college come and participate here. Many state level competition are also arranged by different committees.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is bit expensive but the college has the reputation like that. No additional fees are taken other than KT form fees. The transparency of fees is present. There are no hidden charges. The fees are utilised well but still I feel they are bit expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I haven't opted for the scholarship because I didn't qualify for it. For poor students some EBC scheme is present and bright student get rewards in the fees. The eligibility for scholarship is for student whose house hold income is less than 2 lakh per annum. Other scholarship involves 9 pointer as GPA.

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is okay because the college campus is relatively small. Cultural committees are a joy and learning. It's a engineering college but gender ratio is almost equal. The standard of student is quite high. It is a sindhi minority private college to be precise. There is no discrimination or ragging. Students are friendly and you will spent lots of time in student lounge. There is subsidiary CCD in the college itself. The college lifestyle is rich.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni have there networking site present. Alumni fees are taken in the last year for lifetime membership. Each year, a alumni meet is arranged. Alumni are even called to encourage young generation.

Admission

I am a direct second year student in this institution, previously I have completed diploma in chemical engineering but due to interest in biotech. I opted for this course. The admission was online process by DTE. The admission was on the merit basis. I choose this institution because it's the oldest private college in Mumbai with good faculty and placement. The culture events are big and amazing. Also, the college is known for having many committees to progress the management and extra curricular skills. There are different clubs for drama, dance and social work. The students are enthusiastic and entire college is friendly. The admission took somewhere in August 2018.

Faculty

4

There are 7 professors and 5 supporting staff available for my department. 2 are senior with doctarate degree and others are pursuing PhD. The professors are good and have industrial knowledge. The certified professor takes the major industry level subjects. The faculty is friendly and supporting for academic events and progress of the students. They often arrange different expert lectures for growth of the students. The level of knowledge of faculty is good.

Placement Experience:

Placements at ADYPU are moderate and structred . Students usually become eligilble from the final year for campus drives. Various startups and mid level comapnies visit for roles in sales, marketing, operatioons and tech support . The highest pacakage generally ranges arounf 45-50LPA , while the average package is around 4.5-6 LPA , depending on the profile . A fair percentage of active students secure placements. After completing my degree, i plan to focus on skill development and pursue better career op;portunities.

Placement Experience:

placements in GHRCE are pretty good for CS/IT branches. Students become eligible from 7th semester, but companies starts giving training sessions from 6th sem itself. Many known companies visits like Tcs, Wipro, Capgemini, cognizant, Infosis etc The highest package goes around 20-22 LPA while the average package is around 5-6 LPA. Almost 70-80% students from CS/IT get placed. My plans after getting the degree is to get a stable job and then do masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course out of sheer curiosity and intrest in the field of Artificial Intelligence . The course offered by the college encapsulates all the major subtopics included in the field. Theoretically the curriculum offers great knowledge about various topics from your course however you yourself have to figure out how do you build your practical skills which you can use in the real world. teaching methods can be improvised by implementing a more practical learning based approach rather than relying on the theoretical part of the subject. there are 2exams per semester, one small exam called as mid semester exams and the other one is the major exam called as final semester exam. difficulty of exam is usually easy to moderate and one can easily pass the exam even if he/she does not study regularly.
