VIT - A modern institution with narrow mindset

Had a PDA committee to make sure that the opposite sex doesn't interact with each other.

It was all theory-driven but not much Focus on projects. But there was one thing that the college made me understand was how to boost confidence and how to tackle challenges in life. Their curriculum made sure that we have a breadth of all the subjects. But at the same time, we didn't have an in-depth one

There are more than 600 companies visiting every year on campus with packages ranging from 3.5L to 41L

Technical fest, as well as culture festival, is known as Riviera as well as gravitas. There was a huge number of participants every year with people visiting from different colleges. There were inter-college competitions too organized during the culture fest

135000* 4 years through DD Each year merit fee was 135000 There were some caution deposits given to these people in order to pay for the damage if any done to the college. The caution deposit was a 1-time amount of 10000. There was no other charge apart from this

No didn't opt for a scholarship as the scholarship was restricted to students whose parents had an annual salary less than 2 L

In my batch, there was a 70-30 ratio for boys to girls. Diverse cultures perspective, understanding different religions. The only problem was that people with a narrow mindset didn't want the others to interact with each other and we're always against others being social in the college

The hostel rooms had ACs and the mess too was good. All the facilities were available within the hostel but the water there was treated water due to which it was hard for some people to even get the drinking water

There are communities but not that helpful. We have FB pages to support each other but I don't see a point as no one is helping one another.

Got 3314 ranks in VITEEE and got the seat based on merit. The test comprised 3 sections with no negative marking. The only bad thing about this exam is that they don't reveal the marks section-wise but in the end, they give you a rank only. This test is only applicable for admission to ViT campuses

They were knowledgeable but they lacked experience. There were some who were too knowledgeable and knew how to teach. Someone new and lazy enough to skip the classes and in the end-user to tell the question to the students in order to make sure that his/her students passed
