It is a Good college. It is most certainly not everyone's first choice anyone would be lucky if manage to get here. But, student have to work on themselves improve their employability apart from the curriculum. This, institute also supports and give a platform if someone wants to do something in arts (singing, dancing, photography etc) or entrepreneurship. Infrastructure is Good but not sufficient, there is shortage of seats in hostel.
FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES
There is complete transparency in fee- breakdown. And fee structure is different for GEN, OBC, ST/SC, Female and is available at institute website. Many students also take the various scholarship benefits. Seperate fee for hostel is applicable. Payment is accepted in the beginning of each semester through online mode only.
Placements are unpredictable and changes every year. Many high profile companies visits the campus in core and IT but mostly in IT sector. Amazon, infosis, hero motor, L&T, relience group, 3dplm and many many more. Package offer starts from 3lpa and can reach up to 20 to 30 lpa. Average being 6lpa. Many students go for GATE, GRE, CAT Gov exams, research and higher studies for their future and hence are not part of placement. TPO: does everything possible to score best placement. Conduct targeted training and mock exams to improve selections. Institute has complete Computer centre, confrence room and other facilities necessary to conduct placements.
Eligibility: 12th in PCM, JEE score/rank card. Seat allocation: through JoSSA in 6 rounds, depends on rank, cast, stated from where 12th is done, desired branch. Procedure is simple completely online, according to JoSSA guidlines, except for document varification.
There are separate hostels for 1st years and for rest of the years, to avoid ragging. In the main hostel, room is shared between 3 students. Room size is sufficient. Wifi available at the mess. Bathrooms are also huge and common between the students. Badminton and TT is is available in the hostel. Outsiders are not allowed in the hostel. Seats in hostels are not sufficient and are allocated on cast and performance basis. Therefore many students have to go for PG outside the campus. Kota, DDU Nagar and saraswati nagar are nearby location where PGs are available.
Alumini network is good, and they often provide there support by sharing possible details about their companies to benefit placements.
Lectures: Sufficient no. of lectures are allocated, but fall short because of vacations and massbunks. But, students relies on self study for academic. Faculty: Faculties are vary qualified, most of them are PHD from reputated institute like IITs and NITs also have many research papers in there name. But, their teaching quality may vary according to subject, topic, teacher, their method, their skills and students ability to perceive. Relevance: Syllabus is vast so many might not find most of it relevant to the industrial exposure they get. It depends on branch, subject and industrial context.
Gender ratio: Clearly the ratio is high. Maybe because girls didn't manage to clear the entance in equal no. Some branches like CSE IT have very neutral ratio, but some branches like ME and MIN rearly have girls because of branch profile. Student activities: there are a lot of events according to student interest many of them are celebrated in party style. Some informal events like fresher's and Farewell is also organised be individual branches. There are a lot of clubs and committees for students to join. Politics: institute and its student doesn't participate in political events. Divercity: It's a central institute and recieves students from almost every state of india. But student body is diversified as North and South indian. But harmony is very good. Lifestyle: Students are often engaged in parties and hangouts and other social activities. GF and BF culture is also very common.

LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS
Many students have the benefits of scholarship but most of them are cast or gender based based and institute has nothing to do with it. Some, bright students secure scholarship on merit bases. I am not aware of any scholarship provided from the institute.
