Course Curriculum Overview
For first years course curriculum is same for all students irrespective of any branch which he/she choose.from 2nd year onwards the course is divided and every individual follow its own branch curriculum.The exam structure is same for all the years.There is mid term examination which is of 25 marks,15 marks of self assessment which is done on the basis of either through class test,viva or Quizzes,it's depending upon prof.to prof.and at last there is end term examination of 60 marks.the curriculum is very relevant.
Placement Experience
The placement record of our college is good.most probably 75 to 80 percentage students got placed in various companies.The companies like Amazon, microsoft,TCS and many other visit our college.college provides internship to each and every student in their 3rd year summer vacation.placement is of various rounds which include technical round,coding round,aptitude test,group discussion and at last personal final interview.The average package of our college is approximately 5.5 lakh per annum.
College Events
There are two mainly college fests,which is celebrated in our college.one is nityamini and other is Aarohan,name may be changed after the years.Aarohan is a technical fest,where the students from various institutions come into our college and do participate in the events.nd nityamini is a cultural fest,in which many singers,motivators come.we really enjoy these fest.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's very feasible.one can easily pay that amount of fee.nd the fee is also depends upon the category.for general category students its little more,for sc and st it's too less.The mode of payment is either through online payment or the bank situated in college I.e SBI.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't have opted for any scholarships and loan.however our college provide loan to the needy students.nd the loan is given by state bank of india which is in our college campus and at a very low rate.
Campus Life
Campus Life at Nit Durgapur is really awesome.in our campus there are canteens(chandu,wonders,techno) and two restaurants(chaynika and Roy),which provide good type of food.nd the campus is totally green.at each place you can see the trees.The nature is just peaceful.there is a pond in our college called duck pond.there are various clubs in college (Robotics club,math n tech club, recursion,Glug,debating society and many others).gender ratio is good enough.The sports at our college is of great aspect.you can play each and every sport which u want.nd for each sport there is a coach too.
Hostel Facilities
Yes.I have opted for hostel.our hostel has fast internet wifi connection.for first years room is shared with 3 persons.in final year u got a single room.in our hostel,the mess is there.the mess serves breakfast,lunch,snacks and dinner.There is once in a week called special dinner.for other days,it's just good type of food.There are security guards which are always present 24 hours.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful.They can help you in your each problem.nd They share theirs story of college,through which we can take experience.Alumni visits the college and share their experiences and tell us how to develop our skills in order to get a job.they are also helpful in view of money.
Admission
First of all, getting admission in any Nits you have to clear jee main,which is conducted by NTA.after the result of jee main,you have to go through the counseling process which is conducted by jossa.its hardly starting after 10 to 15 days after jee advance result.There are 7 rounds in jossa counseling and after that 2 more special roynds are conducted which is mainly based upon the open rank,to full fill the remaining seat.on basis of rank,you will get opportunity to get admission in Nits.
Faculty
The faculties at Nit Durgapur are really pretty well.They are of very kind nature.They way,they teach us is really awesome.They clear all the doubts we have.For each subject,there are credits which is the no.of lectures per week.many professors are young and they filled us like energetic.
