Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum in our college is very good, n exam structure also a good with there improve ability, with our exam structure will definitely help full for our campus placement. Industrial visit is required for every student, in clg we are stick with partially lab n theory but when we visit to industrial visit we may get to know how the things will go in particular way.

Placement in our college is very good, like texas instrument, wipro, Infosys, HCL, CORE COMPANY are mijor company in our college with good annually package.

College Events

In our college we celebrate in odd sem there will be tech transform its for students its as department wise. and even sem there wipl be college fest with name of utsaha it will be the biggest fest in our college, in between there will be a hackathon, learnathone, sports events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In our college fees structure is feasible for the who came from the writing the entrance exam with the merit list, based on the merit list the students will get the seat in our college, fees structure is feasible for the students with there merit list.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, for epass scholarship it is was under previlage students with who as income low can avail this scholarship, but it is also beased on the score which is got in yhe previous sem exam, it will help full for the students.

Firstly I wrote the DCET exam and with the merit number I choosed this college as my options, Admission process was done on the September 24th 2018, when I got to know that I selected for BMSIT college, I went? to college and took the application n filled the given data and submitted to the officers they asked to pay the fees in the bank, I did it n they alloted me the class.

In our college there is good faculty, with good nature, if we need any thing about the course they are redy to help us. Regarding the placements, how to be at that position with their experience they will teach us n tell us about everything how they faced and all.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Lack of events and only the educational events
Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I applied the collage in banglore like bms,Rv college,Bmsit, Dayanandasagar they all are good collages in the banglore I choose this collage because I don't have any other option than that I got 6700 rank in the comedk basically I m from pune, maharashtra so I thought bmsit is the good collage in the banglore so I decide to take this collage than other,and also it is good collage Yes, I got rejected by all other collages because for rv collage cs needs 300 rank in comedk but I only got around 6700 rank I got this collage in second round of the comedk counselling In 2024 rank needed to take this collage is 9000 rank for CSE student and for AI ML it is 13k ,this is the first year that cutoff of the collage is increased because of increase in seats in the collage in 2024 around 1200 seat is only for the CSE Students...Read More

A COLLEGE WITH PROMISED OPPORTUNITIES

I CHOSE BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT BECASUE THIS WAS AMONGST THE THREE OTHER COLLEGES I WANTED TO JOIN. ACCORDING TO MY RANKING KEA GAVE ME BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT. THE OTHER COLLEGES WERE RAMAIH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND NITTE MEENAKSHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.
