Course Curriculum Overview
The name Prof. Sudhakar Soloman Raj is sufficient to answer as he is quite famous across Mumbai University and also with North East Students. He is HoD of Dept. of Political Science and Mass Media and also Head of the very famous Nature’s Club of Wilson College.
Placement Experience
No Internship was provides for BA course. Its one of the regular stream on offer besides Science its not a non aides course.
College Events
Polaris of BMM students and Adore of BMS student and also Wilforia for entire college. Polaris being 1st academic college festival across mumbai which is quite famous and Adore being one of the best college festival in entire Mumbai University and there are lot of other cultural activities throughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible fee structure. As the course is of Bachelor’s of Arts so University of Mumbai does not charge lot of fees to students hence lowering burden on students also there are various scholarships and Freeships from University based on the respective examinations.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opt for any loan as it was not needed and for the course of bachelors of arts fees are very less by the university itself.
Campus Life
Simply awesome with lot of activities going around throughout the year. Sports including cricket boxing chess football basketball. Every year a marathon race was organised by the college hostel also cultural activities and entertainment activities. Nature’s club boasts their love and approaches for preserving the nature by organising various trips camping a across India.
Hostel Facilities
No as it was not needed so I have no idea but there are two hostels for boys. St. Andrews and Machichen and one for girls Pandita Ramabai Hostel. Boys hostel located near college St. Andrews being inside college and Girls Hostel on 5 minutes walk from college.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. A good experience with all Alumni as there used to be Alumni night every year to meet and catch up with one another.
Admission
I opted for Political Science because of renowned Professor Sudhakar Soloman Raj in the year 2009 after HSC which was also in Wilson College. It was a three year graduation course which I enjoyed thoroughly and miss it to the date. The HoD is a great human being.
Faculty
Great professors and very supportive of their students as well. All professors are good for all subjects. There are many streams like science arts bmm bms also many other courses on offer like french language learning. All professors take great efforts for each and every student.
