Remarks

As this was my college i would say it was a very bad college, but it was a average college with average facilities and minimal facilities for the students.

Entrance Preview

CET, i went for CET entrance exams for my be course, as this was the best available option at the time for me admission process was held in two steps. First i had a CET entrance exam, then there a counselling round where everyone was supposed to choose a college of their choice based on seat availabilty.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

BE is known to be one of the toughest courses that any student take up. It basically comprises of 64 subjects approx over 4 years of this course and each year is comprising of the 2 semesters and every semesters has lab praticals exams too.

Internships Opportunities

Based on the college reputation, the placement of the college was preety good i would say, companies like infosys, cog, hcl etc etc did came to college for the placements, and half of the class was placed in some or the other company and the salary package were around 2.5 lakh on avarage.

Placement Experience

2

Placement and training were about average and job opportunities were not that great, but if the student had some kind of talent he/she did get placed but the salary were not above average, it was minimal.

College Events

1

Well, about college event, we did had annual college fest, that fest was not very well supported by the college management, well in terms of management investment in such activities were very minimal.it was conducted only for the name sake.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the fees structure, they followed what karnataka examination authorities ordered and took minimal college fees. for me the college fees was around 10-15k and vtu fees were around 35k.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship were provided for the defence students and the sc/st students under the state govt laws, and loans were provided to any students by tha banks under the state govt laws. College has nothing to do with these matters really they just had to take application signed from the principal. thats it.

Campus Life

2

Campus of this college was green, but thats it.nothing else to enjoy about it. The college lacks a good ground infrastructure and there is no fun place in college campus apart from the eatries.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Hostel food in my college was just average, its nothing great. College management faced several complaints regarding the food and they used to change the food staffs on yearly basis. they were not consistent.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is active in the college but hardly few students gather for it, as they dont really provide any thing for the students in there. Its conduted like a formal event about which no one cares.

Exam Structure

Well, college follows vtu guidelines for conducting their exams, like every other college which comes under vtu even MSEC used to conduct exams in the same manner, no complains there, it was fine.

Faculty

2

Faculty of my college were about average and it was no surprise for me because i didnt get very good rank in cet. so i wasnt expecting to go into a very reputed college. based on what i scored i got an average college with faculty having less experience and more attitude.

S-VYASA Deemed-to-be University School of Advanced Studies Collaborating with NIAT, Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I was interested in ECE course since I liked working around chips and was intrigued by how they worked, which is what led me to choosing this course. The curriculum is not the best for real-world applications since the syllabus is pretty outdated. The teaching does involve smart boards and can be visual as well, but it can be utilized better by the professors. A semester lasts for around 5 months, with the last month only involving SEE (Semester End Examinations) and the first four months consisting of 2 CIE tests in the 2nd and 4th months. It also involves practical examinations.

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
