Remarks

The college environment is very good and filled with greenery. Admission can be done on the basis of merit. The college is very safe and teachers teach with their equipped skills. While selecting this college I used the website collegedunia.com.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course is very much preferable for my IAS preparation. At one point in time, only one teacher teach in a class. The college has well-qualified PhD teachers and many assistant professors also. In one year there were 2 terms and according to my opinion, it was very easy to pass.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

There were many campus placements available. Placements can be valid from 2 years onwards. There were many companies that visited the college like Boat, Raymond, and Nearby and they offered packages up to 50,000. The highest package that the company offers can go up to Rs 1 lakh and so many get benefitted from it. After college, I am planning to give entrance exams of various govt, exams and want to excel in them.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees can vary according to the different courses which the college offered and in my case as I have chosen the Ba programme my fees for one year is 6000rs.In college, various companies come and offered internships and packages also for students.

Campus Life

The life on the campus is quite amazing. In college, the annual fest is held once a year and gives the students a sense of relief and pleasure. There were so many books available in the library, sports were very active on the college campus and it also provides opportunities to play that sports on various platforms

Flexible learning system, allowing students to manage their studies alongside other responsibilities.
Opportunity to pursue a degree from delhi university through open and distance learning.

Dislikes

Limited opportunities for regular classroom interaction and face to face engagement with teachers and fellow students.
Students pursuing distance learning may need to rely more on self-study and independent preparation
More regular communication, student support, and interactive academic activities would improve the overall learning experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

Overall best

Likes

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.
