Happy days

Management was helpful and understanding which I don't see in case of my brothers situation.

I wrote EAMCET exam and scored 54678 rank, and during my counseling I was looking out for EEE stream and there were only 11 seats available in mallareddy which during my time was deamed to be a really good college.I was given a time slot and asked to come during that time, and had to wait for 3 hours in the line for my turn, the process was fast when I reached the counter, I was given admission then and there.

It was a 4 year course with 1 St year being common subject for all the streams and from second year we had semesters. I took up electrical and electronics engineering and really liked the complexity of the subjects.

We did not have internship offers from any company, but we did our major project out of our college in a private institute which taught us alot. Our mini project was done in our college and our professor s helped us.

Merchant navy offered 4 laks package during the first year of work.Hcl offered 2.8 lakhs package. Dell customer support offered 1.8 lakhs package. Mahindra satyam offered 3.0 lakhs package.And over all we had 90 students placed from my year.

We had annual days, not special events were conducted apart from that. But our main campus had fests and they were pretty huge and eventful. We would put up stalls taking up a theme and represent our colleges while workibg with the theme.

Tuition fee was 34700,We also had a ltransport fee of 12000 every year. Fee structure was normal during that period but now it has gone very high and expensive.

Economically backward class scholarship was given during my time and a lot of my friends could avail it and it was pretty helpful. I applied for an education loan from Sbi for my engineering.

Engineering students go through ragging but its really just to toughen you up, and should be done in a friendly manner and received in the same way, apart from that all the activities, politics will just teach you how to handle situations once out of college.

I didn't stay in a hostel and I don't know anything about mess food. But our cafeteria was not very good. We had a very small cafeteria of on room where we couldn't sit for long.

Ours was the first batch as our college was a new one so we didn't have any seniors, but we do have aluminium meets and we get to meet and cherish with all our friends and all moments.

Exams and labs were not very hectic, we had our time to practice and learn for our tests and labs. We had a days gap for all examsAnd so it was easier to prepare.

The faculty was not very efficient. Engineering students expect good level of teaching when its a difficult stream, but over all the faculty was average.
