Remarks

Faculty in the college are well qualified and they all have a very nice experience in teaching and corporate as well, which help in academic. The fees of the university are also very low which is also a positive point for the college. I gave 3000 approx for my MBA fee which is very low as compared to other colleges. Placement is also very good at this college.

Course is very well planned and structured so that students can be well trained and get complete knowledge in their course. Academics are also very good. When it comes to faculty them there are good faculties but all the faculties are not so good also but then also it is good only.

I our college there is the placement of only in MBA and language. Amazon, Bandhan bank, Bajaj life insurance, Smsrc, Axis bank, Canara bank, Ludo, Kotak Mahindra are the companies that regularly visit the college for placement.

College Events

Campus Life was quite busy because there are regular classes going on and there are always many assignment and project work given to students in order to engage them and teach them. A lot of competition is also organised by intra and inter college. All the competition are organised by different departments of the college.

Likes

Placements are quite good peers are usually from ranchi
Professors are quite good. They have dept knowledge ot the subjects which they are teaching
Pressure is quite low if you compare it with other b schools

Dislikes

Course curriculum can be made more pratical as it is quite theoretical in nature
Pratical exposure can be improved like more guest lectures and seminars

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students get eligible for placements. I guess around more than 50+ companies visit the campus. The highest package is always around 20+ lakhs and on average you can consider 12 lakhs while the lowest is 8 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed can be said around 95%. My plan is to get a good corporate job and work there as such no fancy plans.

Life at XLRI

Likes

Great campus life. Everyone gets single rooms, so theres privacy and flexibility to fo things at your own pace.
Engagement activities in terms of fests, committees on campus. Everyone gets a chance to participate in varius events catering to their likes and dislikes.
The professors really lean into technologically advanced teaching resources abd methods usings google classrooms and teams classrooms. This streamlined the deadlines, required assignments and upcoming quizzes

Dislikes

A certain lack of transparency regarding the placements policies and process.
The hunger for more students and contant construction on campus. All free and green spaces are used for more rooms constructed which just deteriorates the quality of life there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The HR course was quite comprehensive. Lots of subjects were dedicated to different functionalities of HR. Lots of focus on Law, and employee benefits, worker rights and employer responsibility. The course boasts of some of the stalwarts of the industry teaching different courses such as the Professor who teaches compensation is responsible for designing the compensation structure over at HUL. It's very comprehensive, and periodically reviewed to remain relevant to the changing times

The professor's are amazing and always ready to help.
The infrastructure is very beautiful and charming.
The course curriculum is up to date so it helps in several areas.

Dislikes

For me i think IMS is best and yes of course you should surely enroll here.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies that visit IMS and pick students by taking exams and interviews. Some of them include Accenture, Capgemini, tcs, etc. These multinational companies visit and you can take your chance by qualifying exam and interview. In short, there is full placement in IMS and you will surely be settled after your course.

Admission:

The admission was done on the basis of the CAT entrance exam. I applied for the admission online and after my application was shortlisted, I took the written test conducted by the college which was followed by the group discussion and personal interview.

A review on my college

Remarks:

The infrastructure of our college is very good. The campus life was great too, we have a good library updated to a digital library, labs, counseling center, ATM, etc. The film society used to run film shows at the weekend which was awesome.

The reason behind choosing this college is I found very well behaved faculties and well organised lab system. I rejected many colleges due toh these reasons only. I have applied for Central University of Karnataka, Shrimata Vaishnodevi University, Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University, but I found very good atmosphere in Central University of Jharkhand. A two years review of Central University of Jharkhand

Admission process was too easy in this college actually. Previously you have to take the exam of CET but now the college except the marks of NTA driven JEE exam. If you have marked 92 to 95 percentile in j exam then you will certainly get electrical or or metallurgical department in the university but for CSE department you have to mark for 94 to 97%.
