Remarks
I chose Galgotias University as it is a well- established university and good in terms of placement opportunities. I have opted for this course as I want to explore media field and learn new things about the same.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good but can be improved to involve more of practical learning skills. Yes, industrial exposure is satisfactory but can also be improved and some of the faculties are really good at experience and support the students at every step.
Placement Experience
The placement is just satisfactory as there are no tie- ups with big media houses and companies. The ones which arrive for placement are usually startups and sometimes not even related to the field. Some of my seniors have their own startups and are working in different fields of filmmaking and production.
College Events
The events are organised at a huge level but the security aspect is neglected in these events. The students often end up fighting with each other which creates an unsafe environment for both girls as well as boys.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is quiet unsatisfactory in terms of the wi- fi facilities, labs do not have sufficient equipments, the sanitation facilities are awful, lifts are not maintained properly. Also there a lot of loopholes in the management of the university.
