Remarks
Firstly I have chosen this college because it is a government college, and government college fees are much less than any government sponsored or private college. Secondly this college is situated in kolkata and the environment around this college is perfect for the social communication development of a student. Other than this in my college physics department is best in the University.
Course Curriculum Overview
UGC recently has updated the syllabus for the course from last year. The syllabus is totally different from the yearly students syllabus and this time syllabus is more industry orientated. Topics are chosed mainly focusing on the practical aspects and availability of the equipments. But the pressure is really higher than usual.
College Events
Every month college authorities conducts seminar programs on different topics, in which science personalities from eminent institutes participate. Also famous artists and actors are invited as guests to these seminars. We have annual sports meet at our college and annual cultural meet, fest etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college we have only scholarship facilities which are offered by government organisations. Mainly by state government and central government. Bikash bhavan or swami vivekananda scholarship. Nabanna or CM's scholarship these are available scholarships.
Campus Life
Best in class. I mean among the government general degree colleges my college has best infrastructure facilities. We have hifi, elivator facilities. And Evan we have a dedicated computer lab which is only meant to be used by physics department students.
