Remarks

I chose this college because of 1)infrastructure 2) placements as many big reputed companies like AMAZON recruit students from our college. Placements are good for engineering people especially for CSE students. I opted B-tech in CSE because I love learning new technologies. Infrastructure is the reason I like the college and of course faculties present over there.

Course Curriculum Overview

Engg Course (its good if you are tech enthusiast) Courses are updated every year. And basically it's university so they bring changes in academics syllabus with every upcoming new technologies. All the Faculties are doctorate(dr.) PhD.

Placement Experience

For the placement season 2018-19 Reva University tied up with 300+ recruiting partners. The university bagged more than 1800 offers and achieved a placement record of 83.5%. Highest salary offered this year was 21 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies included NVIDIA,Deloitte,Infosys,Amazon and Goldman Sachs.

College Events

To be frank events organised by them is not so good. So, students are least intrested in participation. But With several student organizations, student clubs, societies, cultural and other events, and groups, we provide endless options to indulge in, play in, and grow with.

Fees and Financial Aid

Following Scholarship are provided- 1. M/s. Jindal Trust Scholarship, Sitaram Jindal Foundation, Jindal Nagar, Tumkur Road, Bangalore. 2. Government Scholarships for SC/ST students whose income is below Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum (Sanctioned by the Social Welfare Department). Students have to apply in every year. 3. Refund of tuition fees to the students of any community (other than SC/ST) coming from families having an income of Rs. 100,000/- and less per annum is sanctioned by District Backward Class & Minorities Department (Students have to apply in the month of August). 4. Fee concession for SC/ST students whose income is above Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum (Sanctioned by Director of Technical Education, Bangalore). 5. Scholarships to Physically handicapped students (sanctioned by the Women and Children Welfare Department. 6. Scholarships from Governments of Andaman-Nicobar/North Eastern Council secretarial, Shillong/Andhra Pradesh/Arunachal Pradesh/Nagaland (only for GOI quota students)

Campus Life

It's so greener. You will not find anywhere else in bangalore. Full Wi-Fi campus, multistorey library with well equipped labs. It's Spread over 45 acres of lush green campus, the University boasts of its state-of-the-art and modern infrastructure that facilitates a large number of services for the holistic development of students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is nice as compared to other colleges. But it's bit challenging for northies to stay. As they are not getting North Indian foods. Talking about rooms and all. Everything is perfect including laundary services. Its easy to avail hostel facilty. In PG's it's about 7.5k/month if you are searching for a good one.

Likes

Making it compulsory to do projects from first year onwards and emphasizing on publishing papers which are good for longer run
Skill labs is fun and useful (in general for most branches)
No ragging, students are not discriminatory and are helpful

Dislikes

Though projects are good, at times it becomes difficult to manage so many at the same time
During CIE's, there are 2 exams on one day which makes it tough
Some teachers dont follow marks breakdown and give marks as they feel. Especially for lab manuals.. they dont check the manual and put random marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

The college provides a supportive learning environment with helpful faculty and good infrastructure

Likes

I like the fact that our faculties are pretty good
Campus is very green and classes are provided with smart boards
Students are competitive and hardworking more focus on studies

Dislikes

Infrastructure is very decent not so wow

Placement Experience:

So from 5 th semester you are eligible to apply for an internship and after 6 th sem or ending you can sit for the full time roles , so as of now highest package is 28 lpa and lowest may be 5 lpa almost 95 percentage of students get placed . I "ll be doing job after my college

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Things I liked it’s a friendly people and seniors are also good here they help to study very well
Another thing I liked that no uniform is there and the college timing is also good
All sir and mam are friendly and exam type is good

Dislikes

They not focusing on the sports activities
The college campus is very small it’s just of 8 acres
The ratio of boys girls is 2:1 in the college

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is great like and avg package is 100000 and it's in campus from 2st semester only the students become eligible for campus placement. Flipkart,TCL and aml many more companies came the highest package in 2023 got of 52 lakh in AIMl and the avg package is 10 lakh. The percentage of the students getting placements is 60-70% my plans after getting the degree to do master in abroad

Likes

It's a good environment in the college and spacious classrooms
There is no sort of ragging all the seniors are super friendly
Good teaching staff they help in all fields

Dislikes

No proper management for the events and attendance for the students taking part

Placement Experience:

Campus selections are available companies like TCS,wipro and many more come to our college do the campus selection the highest package was 1,25,000 and the lowest was 55,000 almost more than half of the students get placed during the campus selections and the rest by the end of the course get a job

ISE department is clean and well maintained
Faculties in ISE department are very friendly in nature

Sometimes very strict in rules coming to attendence
Bus facility at Saturday will be delayed due to many students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th and 7th semester students are eligible gor campus placements. Students are asked to apply for the campus placements from the career development department of the college according to the marks. Some companies visited are like jspider, qspider, Xworkz, kodnest, Infosys, 3 q sutantra, toyota, triveni,idea infinity,edgeverve, eton ,dfm technology, tata elaxi, enventure and many more. And highest package in 8 to 12 LPA. The students are placed according to the companies requiments min 20 students are placed outof 50 students My plan is to get a good, high paying job after completing my graduation.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Likes

The campus is very good , it is peaceful , it has the best environment for a student to pursue his studies
The faculties are highly qualified , most of the faculties (lecturers) are PHD holders. They've got plenty of experience to share their knowledge with the students
We've got plenty of opportunities to improve our skills , lecturers gives us more space to solve our doubts.

Dislikes

For a B-tech college it is new , we are still expecting the campus placements
The campus is a bit underrated for a B-tech college

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

What i most lile about this collage is its infrastructure styl
It has a very good environment lile very green
It even has a ganapati temple in the campus

Dislikes

Water quality is hostel is not good like not filterd properly
Hot water supply is only in morning not at all time
And i dont personally hate anything on the campus

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are very good actually like more then 300 companies have visited the college and more then 950 jobs have been offered to the students companies like infosys, tcs, wallmart, global tech india, accenture, visa, dell technology, intel etc and mass recruter are companies lile infosys and tcs which gove 50+ and 60+ offers respectively. And last year there where 8 students who got 64 lpa and in which four(4) students where from information science and engineering that is our department. Our department is very good and if you take information science you can get a very good job

Not worth my life

Probably nothing.. the only thing I enjoyyy is while traveling to clg and returning.

Dislikes

Very strict towards attendance... That too it's not 75% it's 85% !!!!
Few lectures are very boring and not at all useful
Labs are not at all useful ... More broken computer than working computers!

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
