Remarks

I choose biology in 12th. Was curious about human science. Want to know about human brain. Better way of studying. Not very far from home. Got selected at once. Also kinda international.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course is hectic but worth it. Too much to study. Academics and culture makes it quite entertaining. Curriculum is lengthy can’t do it not prepared mentally. Faculty is understanding.

Placement Experience

5

Very good. All get placed because job in mbbs is generally fixed. You get out of college get a job and prepare for your further pg. between this you get job and even while doing pg you get job and paid well.

College Events

4

Campus life was interesting. Sports, the nature, the studying hall and library, the labs. Even the classes and 200 stairs to climb to reach to the class. It’s a cardio in itself. Practical experiences and interaction with patient all amazing.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship for foreigners. It’s only for Nepalese but the Nepal government. Given to extremely poor and needy. And then they have to go to village to do there duties. They are referred to as NG’s.

Campus Life

4

A beautiful infrastructure. Has a dome shape building. It’s an ancient structure. Has two different campuses and makes interesting to explore both campuses. Both campus give different expierence and makes us wanna explore both building.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel is like a 1BHK flat. It has its own kitchen bathroom and balcony. Gives a view of sunset and sunrise. Mountains surround the hostel. There is an inbuilt basketball court in the middle of hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. More individual attention and skill development can help students understand topics and mould into good clinicians.

Kasturba Medical College - [KMC], Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery [MBBS]
Reviewed on Sep 27, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS comprises 19 Subjects which is vast. Knowing so many things make you not only knowledgeable but also you have very important role in society. This course is filled with practical knowledge which are compulsory to get. This gives you skills which only a few people can have. So you already stand in society. The newer changes that has been made by NMC has reduced the time for studies. It was less exhausting before. Exams are properly placed and arranged . They are well divided into theories, practicals, internal examinations, certification for skills, etc. Last year has more papers now.
