Remarks

This college one of the best college in West Bengal for engineering that's why I have chosen this. Also, this college is a government college which means it has fewer tuition fees. And I have heard that the placement in this college is way better than any other college in West Bengal.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college has best faculties including great professors and hod's they all are like we are friends and share their opinion with us without any hesitation they teach us like their own son and clear our doubts conceptually but they are punctual and at time class starts and have a great curriculum.

Placement Experience

All the big as well as small companies of all over its sector and core sector visit our college campus and recruit students according to their cgp and gives high packages to them. All over campus almost 90 % of students get placed and given a very high package accordingly their grades.

College Events

Extracurricular activities are more than enough in our college and also the great scale of student participation. We must have to select any two extracurricular activities other than study and education. We are enjoying our college and campus life very well.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is available for students who need it and have grades to take it also the scholarship is available for all other state students who came from different states to our state for studying. Also, this is very useful for the needy students everyone must use these opportunities to get its life better.

Campus infrastructure is not at best but it is good enough for students to study and enjoy their campus life we are enjoying our campus life best with respect to any other college. They are well equipped with the playgrounds and laboratories also classroom are also great for study respect.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is also great and well maintained it is not best but it is good enough for students. The rooms are big and windows are available in all the room in the junction we all are also enjoying facilities that our college provides to students. The hostel is also very neat and clean.

Good Internship Opportunities

Placement Experience:

The placement cell provides us with training programs and internships and also if the students are careful and disciplined in the classroms they can crack through job interviews. There is mock viva at the end semester and also some on campus hiring companies came in our college.

The college average placement are 6 lakh per annum and in my branch out of 64 student only 30 God placement but the mistake is of the students because many companies are visiting our colleges but they couldn't find the talent required for the skilled person they required

Placement Experience:

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Fair college according to me

Placement Experience:

Our college provide really good placements if the student is really eligible for employment. There are adequate no. Of companies visiting the campus. Some big companies are - MICROSOFT, LAB VANTAGE, DELTAX, RTCAMP, DELOITTE, ACCENTURE, PERSISTENT SYSTEMS, IBM, MUSIGMA, TIGER ANALYTICS, KEY SIGHT TECHNOLOGIES, KEYENCE, MANIKARAN POWER, TCS, E&Y etc. The highest package is around 20 lpa and the avarage is around 5 - 6 lpa. Placements are better for cse, it and ece. The core branches have mediocre placements.

The Pros and Cons of Joining Jadavpur University Masters of Arts in Economics

1) I applied for Delhi School of Economics, however couldn't manage an admission due to the extreme cutoff on CUET exam for the same. I had confirmed admission from North Bengal University, however it was not feasible since I had a choice in Jadavpur University. Jadavpur University has the best rank among all other colleges I had a confirmed admission to, so I chose this University. 2) I wanted to study in Delhi School of Economics, but couldn't make it there due to the extensive cutoff in CUET which I unfortunately couldn't clear. 3) Jadavpur University conducts its own internal exam for admission into its esteemed Masters of Arts [M.A.] programme. However one can get through by CUET exams as well, however that needs a decent score.
