Remarks
My preference was to get a government college because of two reasons, first I belong to a middle class family so my family can't afford a expense of 3 to 4 lakhs per year as it is the case in many private colleges like thapar, manipal, etc and in government colleges the yearly fee is around 1.5 lakh (including tution fee, mess charges and hostel fee), second reason is that a degree from a government college has more value than from a private college ( here I am excluding some private colleges like BITS, LMNIIT, etc) for example a degree from my college has greater value then a degree from poornima or arya college, which are private colleges, in same course.
Course Curriculum Overview
To be honest in my college we have a good number of faculties as compared to other government colleges like MBM jodhpur, etc. Faculties are very supportive and will help you in any situation, if you will demand, like I tell you, I remember in January 2020 I had my first semester end terms paper and on 22 January I had my mathematics paper and on 21 night contacted my maths teacher for some doubts and she didn't said no and helped me out till late night.
Internships Opportunities
Our college give free access to corsera courses so that we can learn new skills and develop technical concepts also.
College Events
College holds an intra collegiate cultural fest every year. And an intercollegiate cultural and sports fest branded as Adrenaline with participation from 100+ colleges across karnataka. Campus is big with coffee hut, a huge playground and and indoor stadium as well. It consist of a convention hall of 2500 accomodation facility.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have taken a education loan from SBI bank. Which says that 93% of all my expenses is filled by bank and remaining 7% is filled by me. Only thing that I have to do is to give the DD ( Demand Draft) from the college regarding fees to the bank and the bank automatically pays or I can also pay the whole amount and then demand the bank to give the amount back.
Campus Life
College has its own sports complex, a seperate block for library and reading rooms, e library. A seperate undergraduate and postgraduate library facilities are available with 2000+ books with borrow facility. Laboratory also has latest equipments. Hospital laboratory is accredited with NABL.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel that are now been provided to first year students are build in 2019 only and we are the first ones to take their advantage. This new hostel has two buildings, one for first year students and second for M.tech and Ph.D students. Both these buildings are connected through a comman mess. In our hostel we got two types of rooms one are single and second are shared by two students. The room which are shared by two students are bigger than once having only single student living in it. Which room you get depends on the merit list on the basis of your 12 th performance or JEE MAINS performance. Again more priority is given to JEE MAINS students. In first year almost all the students get the hostel except the local students of kota. The room charges are 10,000 per year for single room and 9,000 per year for double ones. My room is single one. Hostel is well ventilated and has 3 floors.
