Remarks

Best and oldest university with multiple courses. Pocket-friendly, easy to survive and top-class education. Professors have good nature, relative environment and importantly care. Library, infrastructure and university employee are all good and familiar.

4 years once Yes Mostly all Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) is one among the most reputed Educational Institutions in Coimbatore region. The college has a fleet of 30 buses that ply from vantage points in and around Coimbatore to the campus and back to facilitate comfortable commuting for both students and staff. The buses are manned by drivers who are well trained and experienced in safe driving practices.

It's was fantastic and cultural Program held ever year and sports activities too. Even the university has a separate department for art and culture. There they teach you about the different culture and arts around the world.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship as per govt norms. University and teachers provide fees and scholarship facility by some NGOs for weaker student and offer equality of education. They help to build every future where they can.

Campus Life

It was nice and calm. The building was old like a fort. And everything is there like your dream university. The library has millions of books. Sports activities held every year. Things are very good there. Importantly the education environment, which is really good. The teacher teaches you like they are there to teach neither you there for study. Very strict for study.

Hostel Facilities

I didn't avail, But I used to go there, good everything was fine. Food is good, accommodation and cleanliness are good. In budget better than others. Also, provide medical and wifi facility at the place.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placement Experience:

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory
I like the support that is provided by the college towards the placements of the students

Dislikes

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

Likes

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

Likes

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

good exposure for kids to grow and flourish. Good student crowd. People from all different backgrounds are there and students are mostly smart and are willing to learn new things. Overall good exposure for students
Good cafeteria will reasonable food and both north and south India food options
Regular events and seminars are conducted with guests lectures

Dislikes

Very pricey fee structure, fee could have been a little less
Attendance policy is very strict and follows mandatory 80% attendance
Placements are not that great as off now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Would say that's it's average. Like other colleges only. However one good thing is we have one or two elective paper almost every semester in which we can choose particular subjects according to our interest.
