I would only say that it is a great college. I feel myself to be very lucky to having gotten admission in such a great college
The course curriculum is good but a bit difficult to follow, the course remains same for nearly first two years for almost all engineering branches but from the third year it becomes industry specific, there are also seminars organised by the college institute for providing us the necessary information that would help us get good placements.
My college is known for its placement many nation wide as well as international MNCs have visited our college for internship drives some of the companies are Amazon India and flipkart, etc. The internship periods depend on kind of job offered and time period can vary from 3 months to nearly a year. Also our institution has helped us lot to take full advantage of these placements by organising informative seminars.
There are many technical fests organised at various times throughout the period of course these fests help us gain knowledge about various new technologies that are emerging over years and one of these is artificial intelligence, our college also participates which also help us expand our alumni network.
As I am studying in a government college the overall fees for my compelete course is very less as compared to private colleges,I would say that it is rather inexpensive, firstly I had to pay the initial admission fee after which I pay the fees every semester.
I opted for an education loan, with my father as coapplicant,I chose to pay the loan in 24 EMIs which started after 6 months of approval of loan, I got the money within 10 days of approval, for approval terms and conditions depend on the lender and some basic documents are required to get the loan.
Campus is very lively and there are children from States like UP, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, Punjab. We regularly go to labs to perform various experiments, and sporting facility is also available as far as gender ratio is concerned girls are competitive less in our batch as compared to last year's batch.
No I have not opted for hostel as my house is very close to the faculty. Thus I don't know much about the hostel its fee structure and the facilities available to the students. But I have visited the hostel a few times and have observed that the rooms have great infrastructure and large space.
The alumni network is great, seniors are really helpful, one of my seniors have really helped me in understanding difficult topics.
I had to clear the JEE mains after which I gave the advance exam and on the result day I got my rank and had an option of few colleges I opted for NIT Delhi as it one of the best institutions for engineering in India with top class faculty and campus and also it is very close to my residense.
The faculty is one of the main reason because of which I chose this college all the teachers are highly qualified professionals and many of them are PhD holders that provide us in depth knowledge on every topic and the maximum age for passing a graduate course is 26 years and post graduate course is 29 years.
At the end of the third students can sit for placements and the fourth year is basically a placement year for all students. All the dream companies come in the college like Google, Amazon, Wipro, Goldman Sachs, Samsung Zomato, etc if you want then you can also it on college website total placement companies with their no. Of offers clearly mentioned over there. The data is different every year and there no. Of offers also vary. 90 percent of the students placed in the college. and remain percent of students will go for further studies or maybe their own start-up and business. My plans after getting the degree are not fixed right now because first I really want to go with the cooperative sector and then somehow will be involved in MNC and the start-up.
Students become eligible for college placements from the 5th semester and on-campus internships are also there for students. Many companies visit MAIT like Amazon , Accenture, Wipro, Expedia, Hitachi, and many more. The highest package offered is 31 Lpa and the average package is 6.5 Lpa. 80% of students get placed from college. I plan to take a good package in some big company.
Students become eligible for placements in the 7 th semester. Around 25-30 companies visit the campus which includes amazon, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, etc. the companies made around 300 offers last year. The highest package was 28 lacks offered by amazon. The average package was around 5 lacs. The percentage of students getting placements is 70-75%. I also plan to get a good placement at the university after I complete my degree.
It is among the top 4 colleges of Delhi. It is a govt college. The on campus placemente are great, with an average package of 12 lacks. The faculty is great. The environment, u name the society we have it in our college, and all of them are well known and have performed really well.
IGDTUW has good placements with companies like Accenture, Nestle, Uber, Tata Motors, TCS, Expedia, Dell, and Cisco visiting the campus. The placement records show that the institute is growing every year. In the year2019, the25companies visited the campus which recruited342students in including all the courses offered. The highest salary was recorded to be16 LPAin BTech and15 LPAin MTech.
Honestly I never knew about this university, but through JAC Delhi i got a better branch in NSUT than I was getting in DTU so i had to take it. I am studying in Mechanical Engineering so it's not very bad. I researched a little bit and came to know that it was closer to home than DTU, plus i had a chance to get a room in hostels. College is in walking distance from metro and the locality i.e. Dwarka is very good. Lots of malls and restaurants plus metro so you can go anywhere anytime. That's what made my decision final.
Because there were no good colleges left. Moreover it was less distant from my home. And it has a good environment to bunk classes and sit on the ground. It has many faculties in this university so one can roam and hang with different faculty girls as their is a crisis of girls in Btech.
The College is very good in every aspect. It offers you a lot of opportunities in which you want to pursue further. The teachers and senior students are very supportive in nature. You will also take part in extracurricular activities. So it provides overall personality development to the students
