My college changed my life, my way of living, thinking and enjoying. My college made me grow up. It was an amazing place and an amazing experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
They have internals and externals as exams. Exams happen once in one semester. The curriculum included practical approach towards journalism and Mass comm which helped me get better in a career perspective. They also polished my skills with real practicals and not just a theoretical approach.
Placement Experience
Many companies visited the college campus for placements. New startups also approached. The tentative percentage of the college every year is near about 80%
College Events
We had this media fest, namely Spandan which earned us 100 marks in the event management subject. The event is huge and all the students from delhi attend it. The other courses have events like Gravity and literature fests etc. The college also gave huge importance to festivals and held functions for them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
A bit expensive, but the course is worth it. The fee was near about 85000 per anum which could be given through an EMI system. Every mode, including Paytm was accepted to pay the fees. There is no requirement of any additional fees if you have scored a good rank.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I did not avail for any scholarship. The college offered scholarships to students who scored the first rank.
Campus Life
The college had male and female students in an equal ratio. The campus was great, with big computer and other labs, sport activities and cultural activities. The students did not face any issues of harassment or bullying in regard to their race, religion or caste, or even their sexual orientation.
Alumni/Alumna
The college always had an icebreaker session for the newcomers. The seniors were helpful and always offered assistance in difficult projects. I had so many friends who are still in my life, and are making it a better place to be.
Admission
I always wanted to choose journalism as my career option. The college offered great courses and was ranked no. 1 in IPU. I gave an entrance exam for the course, got a rank and got to choose my preferred college. Then after the documentation completion, I got admitted.
Faculty
The faculty of my college is extremely good at teaching all the subjects, be it camera or radio, or even print. They took us through their lives for us to grow into groomed adults. They taught us not just the subjects but also told us about the risks each one had as a career.
