good college needs better infrastructure and management. the facult is really nice

Course Curriculum Overview

Placement Experience

The placement of the college is fair. There needs to be more wmphasis on mock interviews for students in oreder to help students build confidence and possible situational quesntions

College Events

The Cultural fest of college is SPACE. It sees a foot fall of absout 1000 people and runs over 4 days. The tech fest is also of 3 days. The participation across different colleges is observed. The college also organizes a welcome party for new joiners and a farewell. supervised by teachers. And most important events are definitely Independence day and republic day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is a feasible one.Since the college is a government college the fees are only about 60000 a year. this way less than private collges. There are also various scholarships like Tata scholarship which needy students can opt for to pay fees

Campus Life

2.5

The gender ratio was better than other colleges of 1:2 f:m for a branch like civil engineering. The labs were fully equipped and were good enough to help win various competitions at IITB, robocon and supra. The college had a well established calendar for all the social events and debate competitions well managed by the faculty and student council.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No. I was a day scholar as I am fro. Mumbai. But during events for safety og girl council they did allow to use hostel The hostel facilities are good and the staff is helpful. average rentals were around 10k without foods in PG as of the information I have

Hostel Fee: INR 25000 per yearExternal Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network of the college is very strong. Guest alumni lectures are arranged by the faculties for students in order to help them be aware of the current industry situation

Admission

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Students are required to clear MHTCET with a good score of a minimum 97 percentile if they are in a general category. Students have to move through CAP rounds as decided by the MHTCET cell. Students of SC/ST or OBC quota can avail benefits of percentile reduction as well they would be having a discounted fee of 4,648 which is very great for them. Students of the EWS category are too eligible for similar but a little tighter benefits....Read More

So while filling form of CAP I filled all branch of government college such as COEP , VJTI, SPCE because of their reputation and legacy of many decades. Then I got SPCE civil in 2 nd round of CAP . The reason I choose SPCE over new Nits was its strategic location in Mumbai , its incredible reputation of more than 5 decades , Its fees was way much less than that of new nits ( fees of 4 yrs at spce is 2.8 lakh and of nits was nearly 8 lakh )...Read More
