Remarks

Well planned infra and improving updating the college based on market trends. Overall I am sure its standard college and it eligible to generate qualitative engineer at the end of training with funolved memories.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course ciriculam was defined by anna university and lecturers were well experienced helped us to clear exams. Daily exam and internal exam help us to take decent score in semesters. Practical and lab facilities also available with global standard. 2 to 4 year we went to industrial visit as well

Alumni network of college is so strong. So more on campus placement facilities are available here. As well as due to standards facilities with academic results of many candidates companies itself interested to come for placements.

College Events

Symposiums, sports day and college day every year. Apart from this lot of active clubs such as Roteract, Jaycee etc. For sports also we can participate in zonal matches. I participated in hockey in house matches over there. For hostel guys hostel day is the memorable day

Fee Structure And Facilities

As per government policy. Yes transparent way of fee structure will be displayed to all. As a first graduate in the family candidate coming through the counselling have option to get the scholarship in the tuition fee as well. Fee will be yearly wise not semester wise.

Yes. I am first graduate of my family so I opted for it. It was very useful nearly 5000 INR per year will be given.

Campus Life

College has very good infra in lab facilities. Being IT student I have option of four Labs for practicals with decent machines. sports we have two big grounds for hockey and football. Decent standard basket ball ground as well where state level events eligible to happen over there

Hostel Facilities

No. Since I am localate I didnt opted for it. Many of my classmates cherish about college days till date. They enjoyed each and every day in college to groom themselves happily. Food and snack are decent with qualitative preparation

Alumni network of NEC is so strong. Every year in Chennai or Banglore they are conducting meet where it helped people or contacts to do placement drive from there.

Admission

One of the qualitative college in south tamil nadu. It started in the year 1984. I have attended the engineering counselling at madurai thiyagaraja college. Joined with the government specified fee and got scholarships as well as per first graduate jobs.

Many PhD professors were there in different departments. Minimum qualified to become lecturer is ME. College is giving lot of scholarship to the lecturers to groom themselves to next level in PG program and PhD. Funding will be allocated the internal needed projects as well

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

In the South Side of Tamilnadu, the topmost college is the national engineering college. Most of my relatives are referred to this college. The course offered by this college is awesome. Faculty members are also very good. I entered this college through TNEA counseling mode so all the admission process is only online mode.
