Entrance Preview

For admission in the BMS course in our college i didnt require any entrance examination. I was given admission on puely merit base

The course was a management curriculum. it was fully management subjects such as Human resource, public relation, marketing, finance an d legal.

Internships Opportunities

There were many internship opportunities in our college which we came aacross but i got selected for an internship in Reserve Bank of India through my college

Placement opportunities was too good additional committeee was made for placement called as placement cell. Companies such as Wipro, hdfc, frr forex came to college for placement activities

There was 2 events celebrated in college in the academic year. One was organised by the BMS team called Nexus and other by the rest of college.

The alumni and the senior students are par excellence currently interacting with them once in a year feels good and motivational on all aspects there are usually lectures conducted with them

There were six semester in the entire 3 years of college, total 40 subjects were covered in the entire 3 year of Bms

The faculty in the college was excellent removing 1 or 2 from the list. They treated students as their own child from the first year to last year. the standard of the college was too high

The faculty members are highly qualified, approachable, and always willing to help with academic or research projects.

Placement opportunities are robust, with many top-tier companies visiting the campus for recruitment every year.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food lacks variety and quality, which is a frequent concern among resident students.
The placement department needs improvement as more core internship and job opportunities could be provided for undergraduate finance and BMS students
There is a lack of student-accessible Wi-Fi facilities across the campus premises, which makes online research difficult during college hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

A perfect blend of learning and industry exposure.

Likes

The faculty is extremely experienced and provides valuable industry perspective.
The campus is modern and equipped with smart classrooms, media, labs, studios and an excellent library.
The placement cell is very helpful and active, getting students placed with firm.

Dislikes

The hostel is not good so providing variety in food.
sometimes coordination between department can be smoother.
The course is a bit on the expensive side when it comes to fees.

Best College with Loving Memories

Admission:

The admission process is easy in my college. Students do not have to appear for any Entrance examination. For Taking admission in B.M.S course, students should get minimum45% marks and reserved category students should get 40% marks in Xll Standard.

KPB Hinduja College is of highest order!

For BMS CET is mandatory and a good piece of scores are required. No one can be in real trouble here once the scores are as per the required cut-offs. Around 240 seats are there in BMS but Hinduja being the top 10 ranked college, students have to be in top 2000 rankers to get admission in BMS here....Read More

I had confirmed admission from HR and Jai Hind but Hinduja being a part of Hinduja Trust, I had more faith in them. CET is the only way to get admission for BMS unlike other colleges where junior college quota is there. A Review of K.P.B. Hinduja College of Commerce

I had applied for other colleges like Dahanukar college, Bhavans, and others, but I like this college more than others because, 1) this is really close to railway station like just near the railway breeze. 2) the college crowd is so good. As I got 86.5% in my HSC so I had only applied for few colleges depending on their cut offs so I got the call from all the colleges The addmission process is same as other colleges you have to fill Mumbai University form first then you have to fill each college form you are willing to get in, each college is having their registration fees that may be 100-500, for Hinduja college it is 200 rupees after that merit lists come, there are 3-4 merit lists. Minimum cutoff is 80% for Hinduja college but there is Sindhi minority for them it could be 50-60% depends on the people applying for the minority....Read More

So as i want to do BCA and mumbai university not provide this course so i did BCA from ymcou so basically i had not much options in colleges.
