Manish Meena's Review On Global Institute Of Technology - [GIT], Jaipur

Our college is among the best colleges of Jaipur and it really deserves that. Only bad remark about our College is that in recent years, management is becoming a little bit strict. I don't know whether it is a good or bad remark but as a student, I feel uncomfortable with that.

Course curriculum and exam structure is groomed accordingly to the norms of Rajasthan Technical University. And we all know RTU is known for its educational curriculum. Internal exams are very well balanced, and are taken seriously by students as well as the faculty members. Site visits are organised to better understand the industrial knowledge. Several workshops are organied by the college for the students welfare.

Several companies come for placement drives in our college. Some of these are infosys,wipro, TCS, collabera, vansh construction, L&T infotech, simplex, ultratech, BYJU'S, meta cube, IBM etc. Most of these companies have written paper at first, then technical round, after that group discussion round and at last person to person interview with HR.

Jigyasa is the technical fest organised by our college in which students form our college as well as from other colleges are invited to showcase their technical projects. Vanquish is a sports fest organised by our college in which students showoff their sports skills in several games.

College fees is in middle of expensive and feasible. For my course, ?80,000~90,000 is the yearly fees. All type of online payment modes are accepted by the college. ?10,000 is kept as security money which are given back to the students after completion of their graduation. Full transparency is provided in fees break-down by the college.

I didn't opted for any loan for my education. College do provide scholarship to the students based on their 12th class performance.

Campus life is filled with lots of adventure and happiness. Several workshops, events are organised by college where students can take participation as mentioned above. Gender ratio is relevantly low as we know less number of girls are interested in technical education. Students from different states like MP, UP, BIHAR, J&K etc are enrolled in our college. No partiality or ragging is done with them by local students. All live a very pleasant and happy life in college as well as hostel. Dj night are organised every weekend by management for the hostellers.

I have my own house in jaipur. so, I didn't opted for hostel as well as PG's. As I heard from my friends who lemive in hostel, they says that food quality is average however milk is provided to the students in morning and evening as well. Playgrounds of hostel are big enough to play any kind of games in them. Whole campus is air ducted.

Alumni meets are organised by our college where alumni or senior students share their experiences with the students. They tell us about the market position of our courses and various scopes available.

I wanted to have graduation in technical education so choose B. Tech as my graduation course. Because i did not wanted to study away from my home state i choose my college in jaipur. I did have the option of govt. College but by counselling process i got college in jhalawar so i did not went there. I choose global institute of technology over other colleges because it is among the top rated colleges in jaipur and it is affiliated with rtu and is also certified by AICTE. I went there for an interview and then after reviewing my previous year educational perfomance, they accepted my application. I took admission under civil engineering department.

Faculties of our college have good knowledge of their subjects. Other departments have experienced faculties but our batch is the first batch of civil engineering department in our college, so we were deprived of experienced faculties. We have young faculties as compared to the other department faculties. But know civil engineering department also acquire highly experienced faculties. Many faculties in our department has background of working in industries as technical consultant, engineer etc.
