Remarks

Our college management are quite good and helpful in every aspects.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Our curriculum is good and very organized. Our curriculum groomed to provide industry specific knowledge because they teach us the theory and also there are labs, workshops for our practical knowledge. This type of knowledge is very helpful in getting placements. industrial visits program stared from second year in our course.

Placement Experience

4.5

Major companies that visited our campus are Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Intel, hp, oyo rooms, Oracle, Samsung, reliance, ITC limited and many more. we have to participate in their exams of different level and after qualifying exams we have to submit our resume after that interview takes place and then they recruit the students. in this year of 2020 approximately 93% students have been placed.

4.5

There are so many events which is celebrated in our college like technozian, springs spree, green holi, dussehera and many more. These festivals are celebrated on a bigger level and in a quite organized way. Every students of our college can participate in all of the events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is feasible and totally transparent. yes at the starting of admission in college we have to pay an amount which can vary every year. Here we can pay either by online mode or by making draft in sbi if we want to pay in offline mode. Here we have to pay admission fee, hostel fee and mess fee at the time of admission.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, our college provides scholarships for the students having good cgpa. As a scholarship they returned our total tuition fees. After declaring result we have to apply for scholarship by submitting required documents.

Campus Life

4

When I came to the campus It takes sometime to understand the things in our college. after that we starts enjoying our college life fully. our college environment is also very good. there are many extra curricular activities like many clubs, different types of sports, workshops and many more. There is neither discrimination on the basis of religion nor on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity, politics etc because if anyone doing like these things are caught very strict action is taken by college authorities.

Hostel Facilities

4

Of course yes, for first year students there are two students in a room. room are quite good and large to stay. For first year students ultra mega hostel also known as 1. 8k is allotted which is the largest hostel in Asia. other facilities are also very good.

Alumni/Alumna

There is very good relations among our senior and aluminai to make it more healthier there is NITW ALUMANI ASSOCIATION. yes of course they are very helpful for us because they gave us a proper guidance and tell us their experiences etc. There are good and healthy relationships of new students with their senior because there is no ragging like things. we used to meet him without any hesitation for any help or guidance.

Admission

I got admission in this college on the basis of jee mains rank. I chose this college because it is one of the top ranking college of india and it is located at one of the most beautiful place. After rank is declared counselling starts in which we have to participate and on the basis of our rank we got college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
