Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opt for any education loan but you have the scholarship opportunities base on metric and post metric scores

Campus Life

Campus life is worst but because of the location of college there are too many things to do apart from the college. but gender ratios of girls and boys are good. Labs are good but instruments are very old but some instruments are new so overall labs are medium

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed. For BTech the scores accepted are of Jee mains. The cutoff can be considered above 90 percentile....Read More
