Remarks

I Will provide you all the information about PCCOE. A 360 view of the college so read it carefully. I have completed my first year at pccoe. I had a mix experience at college. so let me give my honest opinion and about the pros and cons about college. The college is bit strict about its attendance policy of 75% and you have to maintain it but you can survive at 65% but need to do some extra assignment. As far as faculty is concerned they are very helpful and knowledgeable and will teach you each and everything but as per exam perspective. In first year you will have some of the fun moments and make new friend. the crowd here is mostly typical maharashtrian. But you will not face a language barrier as such. The connectivity is also great you have AKRUDI railway station at walking distance. The campus area is 13 acre and it is well maintained and clean and green. Now let's talk about the most happening place yes the HOSTEL. The mess food is good during lunch and during night.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty here is highly qualified and they focus on your academics a lot. There will be regular classes and teachers are very eager teach you. Most of the teachers are post graduate and some also hold phd. They are very nice and knowledgeable. Teachers will help you in every difficulty you face during your academics. The average strength of the class is around 60 in first year and 70 from second year. The average student to teacher ratio is 20:1 which is good in my opinion.

Placement Experience

4

The percentage of placement of eligible candidates is around 90% and most them placed in service based companies. Very few students make it to the product based companies. You will get the opportunity for placement and it depends on you how you perform. The placement season start from 7th semester. The average placement of Electronics and telecommunication is around 4.5 lakhs and for comp and IT it is around 5.5 lakhs for core branches not much opportunity are available.

Fees and Financial Aid

So one great thing is the fee structure of the college, so during my time my fee was 1,29,000 during first year and 1,26,000 from the second year so your college fees nearly remains constant during your whole engineering. The hostel+mess fees is around 80k but you will much cheaper PG or flat near to the college. The college has provides very good opportunity of placement because of only one person the TPO Shital Kumar Rawandale. The college has good return on investment. The provides you with various scholarships during your course of 4 year.so can also try for it.

Campus Life

4

The campus size is 13 acre and you will have various sports activities like basketball, volleyball, cricket, football, table tennis in the campus. The annual fest of college is known as SWARTARANG it is around a week long. You will enjoy the whole week to great extent. The library is okay not very big.But the good thing is reading room where you can study during your exam with some isolation. The classes and labs are well equipped. The college also has art circle which will give you all the opportunity to follow your passion in drama, art, music etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel are well maintained and spacious room with triple sharing in first year and double sharing from second year. The hostel is allowed on merit basis. The accommodation size 180 for first year and 200 for second to fourth year. The mess fine. The mess food is good during lunch time and okay during dinner.Yes the food is offered only twice. The in time of hostel is 10:00 pm and attendance is strict so you should be on time. You will enjoy your hostel days very much.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
