Learning with fun

The college didnt had a huge campus so the playing opportunity is cut down. As said earlier there are some bad faculty as well which we raised quite few times and then eventually the faculty was changed. Overall i had a nice college time where i enjoyed learninv with fun.

ICFAI ENTRANCE exam organised by IBS Hyderabad. If tou pass the exam then they call you to hyderabad for a group discussion and personal interview. You have to fill three centre preferences and basis your exam scrore, group discussion and PI you will be allotrd the centre

Two year regular courseMy specialisation was in FinanceMajor in finance and minor in marketing. Course was designed in a way that if you go through the classes and course material you will get the apt knowledge about the subject. First year is the general course and specialisation comes into picture in second year

College internship was of 3 months duration. I did it from IRPPL NOIDA. The experience was good and there were students from diferent colleges doing internship and i was given the certificate for the best intern. At that time no stipend was offered. But the learning was good

Placement is quite fine of our coleege but the time i passes out then the US Subprime crises hit and there was no jobs in finance so have to search job myself. Im happy the wag my career is shaping

We have our finance colleague fair on quarterly basiisCollege festival for first year was very nice as Indian Ocean came to performWe did went to different places to learn about the cultures of kolkata.

Fees was feasible at our time but now i hear that the fees have increased quite a lot. But it is worth to spend such amount so you end up at a decent organisation with skill set to cope up the corporate challenges

Yea the facility was there to avail. But that required great effort with CgPA of 9.5 and attendance of 95%. Bit tough for me tough. But there were people who availed it.

The college nad hostel life is the one which one should always have and enjoi. You get to meet different people and learn a lot while living away from your family. Everyone use to study together before the exams. If we have presentation in college we have to awake all night and prepare for that too

Hostel was nice and the groupWe had a grt group of frens, with whom i m still in touch and we truly to do a reunion every month. The food of the mess is just like another mess was a big mess. Half of the we use to eat outside or depend on maggi

As i m based out in Noida im not able to attend the alumni meet in kolkata. But in 2011 they had arranged alumni meet in delhi then i joined it and it was so refreshing in meeting our batchmates, junior n senior. You buil alot of new contacts which can also help in progressing in your career

3 hrs wxam on six monthly basis. The schedule used to be very tight. Sometimes there use to be 2 exam in one day with only a gap of 2 hours

Every college has a mixed kind of faculty. They would good, average or bad. All depends on how you are going about the subject. The one faculty whicb i still talk about is Shubashesh sir, he was my marketing prof. But the examples which he use to share were real life industry experiennces
