Remarks
The teaching staff is great. They focus on overall development. There is only one bad thing is that MBBS students of Jamia Hamdard do not get any quota for medical PG like another state medical colleges and it's a big demerit. Admission is done on the basis of neet merit and the majority of the dates are allotted on the basis of neet results. The main reason for choosing Jamia Hamdard is that it has a good NIRF ranking and a reputed college. I also got admission easily in this college according to my merit. I personally do not use any blog or forum but I visited the official website of Jamia Hamdard.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the MBBS course because my passion is to become a doctor and I think it is the noblest profession where you can earn money by serving people. We have a batch of 100 students and the faculty members are quite enough. The faculty is highly qualified and a lot of experience. The teaching method is good. It is by a projector for theory classes and there are separate practical classes. Term exams are held timely like PCTs and semesters and the difficulty level is medium most of the time.
Placement Experience
In MBBS there is nothing like campus placement. You have to complete the course and internship to get placement in any hospital or medical college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are fixed i.e. Rs. 1200000 per year but I think it's ok because almost every private or deemed colleges have more fees. Medical students get a stipend at the time of the internship.
Campus Life
MBBS students of Jamia Hamdard have a separate fest annually and its name is anastomosis. Almost all books are available in the central library. There is also a separate library of courses. Sports and extracurricular activities also promoted in college and we also have a separate sports week. We have a social group in which we can communicate with seniors or with fellow members. Every batch also has a separate grp.
