MY MBA AND COLLEGE LIFE!

    REMARKS

Definitely should attend the college. There is good infrastructure in place at the college plus distance education options. They have a really good course curriculum with the MBA program offered so it is worth a shot.

  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

Fees are pretty reasonable for the MBA course. The per year fees are around 80,500 rupees. These fees include the exam fees, other fees plus the initial tuition fees per semester. Hence, they are pretty good for an MBA course.

    PLACEMENT WING

Some students do get placed at certain companies that come to the campus. But this is not the case with all students. One of the things that you need to keep in mind are that you need to be able to stand out from the other students.

  • ADMISSION

You can write a lot of different qualifying examinations to get into this college. CAT, CMAT or JMET. After submitting your entrance exam scores, you will be admitted on the basis of the group discussions and personal interviews.

    FACULTY

Faculty is pretty good. There are quite a few professors who have really good methods of lecturing, and who care about the students too. Plus, their experience from their respective fields is really helpful too.

    CAMPUS LIFE

There are many extracurriculars available for the students. Along with sports being a popular option, there are also some types of events or celebrations going on with the college or specific departments.

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

The exams are throughout the semester, and there are 8 papers which the students will be graded upon. Hence, the exams can be a bit tough to prepare for since there are a lot. The course has also increased in terms of its difficulty.

My college experience

Placement -

The campus placements are good with multiple offers in multiple domains. The average package is around 17 LPA and the median is around 16 LPA. Many students get placed in consulting and analytics. The course curriculum is also designed in such a way that such offers become feasible to the candidates.

Placement -

Placement and job opportunities are not so good. You cannot depend on college to provide opportunities for you and will have to try in campus drives and such. If you want to go for higher studies or such then you'll have no problem.

ISI is the best place for statistics in india. It has world class professors and providing great education, demands of statistics are dam high in today's world with so much data out there, also here is no tution fees / hostel fees and you will get amount 40k yearly stipend during B. Stat degree, world class faculty, these are the reason for why I choose this institute.

Placement -

Placement are awesome here with avg salary more than 15/16lacpa ( which is comparable with IIMs) If you want to go for research the training which you will get during B. Stat and M. Stat will make you confident and comfortable in your phd. Lots of world best universities including standard, Hardvard offers phd for every year to ISI M. Stat students.

There are lots of companies do visit this college campus such as tcs, Infosys, tech Mahindra, byjus, capegemini, star cement and many more.there is one rule that if you got selected in any of them then you cannt able to apply for other one untill or unless the next one have double package than the first one.basically by this rule the other students gets their oppertunity equally.

Remarks -

Our college has almost all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments those are needed for the academic years. We don't have smart boards in classrooms, library, sports centers or laboratories but they have few smart boards in some special classrooms and laboratories, they are used for taking special or important classes. They are well mainted and we have a free WiFi inside college campus. The food in canteen and hostels are not hygienic enough and the living spaces are quite clean.

Placement -

I have not yet gone for placements because I'm in 3rd year but as I have seen and heard from our seniors, the quality of placements are good enough and almost all the students were placed. I don't have the exact idea about the highest salary package but it was not from core related jobs. The average salary offered is about 2.5 lakh per annum maybe. College seems to be quite supportive but I don't have proper idea or experience.
