Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is engaging, as I have found out, is on par with the standard curriculum for MBBS degree. They have ensured we get the best experience, with state-of-the-art laboratories.Exams are held regularly, every year, and it does become a little hectic sometimes.
Placement Experience
The placement section of the college is pretty good. Hospitals and firms come for recruitment, with some notable names being Columbia Asia, Narayana Heath, MedPlus, Bioclinica and Sequent Research, among others.The college also provides help in gettign the mandatory internship at a good place.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The MBBS fee is 5.64 lakh rupees for the whole course. This is, in fact, quite a high amount, and not everyone would be able to afford it. Usually medical courses do cost a little higher than other courses, but it still falls on the more expensive side.
Campus Life
There are sporting activities held regularly, of course, in the college. There are also other technical or cultural activities held. There are strict anti-ragging regulations.The college is co-educational. There are struct rules to follow on the campus, which can become a little too strict, especially for girl students. Workshops are held regularly on a varietu of topics.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The boys' hostel has only triple occupancy option, which costs 75,000 per academic year, which is the same as that of the girls' hostel. The girls' hostel has single and double occupancies which cost more. The facilities are good, and so are the living conditions.
Admission
I took admission through the NEET-UG national medical entance examination. I gave the test and applied to ACU through the counseling process and took admission at the Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), which is one of ACU's constituent colleges.
Faculty
The faculty members helped us understand the very important topics, and guided us through detailed processes and delicate operations. Whether theory or practical, they helped as well as they could, and as the internship comes closer, I'm sure I will do well with all I have learnt from them.
