Entrance Preview

GATE. After completing my B.Tech I want to do post graduation. So, I have go through this GATE exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

Everything what I required in the course were included. It a nice curriculum for us. I feel good for getting the seat in the college. My cource is good. Very nice.

Internships Opportunities

Nice. Nearly 10 companoes came with internship program. They have Offered around 10, 000 to 15000 Rupees for each student based on the requirement. They preferred mostly B.Tech guys not M.Tech. that was only a problem.

Placement Experience

At that time 20 to 30 companies came. Near half of our batch placed all it companies well established MNC companies came for campus placements. I have attended nearly 15 interviews. It a nice experience to me to attend all those interviews.

College Events

4 events during my studies. This space is not sufficient to elaborate them. It gave me good knowledge and confidence for organising all those types of events. This not only inspired me and made me as a good event organiser.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Good. When we have done our m.Tech that time fee structure is less. Since it is a university we have paid less amount as fee. If it a private college then we might have end up with debts.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got internship as well as stifund during my course. I got the stifund as a salary. With that I have managed my total study time. And after the course also I was with my savings ready for attending exams.

Hostel Facilities

We are not provided with any hostel facilities. That is only a problem for us. our juniors got hostels. If we got hostel accommodation then only I can tell about this question.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

I am not a member of alumni. Seniors also not supported us during the studies. We have managed entire period with our friends and professors. They really supported us. If teacher support is not there means no student will improve.

Exam Structure

Good. We are having internals and as well as externals. Project work etc. One presentation also we have given in my course period. It is a nice experience and they have improved the knowledge

Faculty

Good. They supported us during the college days. Not only in subjects in placements also. We received well education. It's a nice experience to remember those days.

Likes

library is superbb and very large with equipped AC and other things
No restrictions on exit and entry in the main gate

Dislikes

too much bushes and vacant area which could be utilized to increase infrastructures.
less lightning facilities and too much darkness in many campus areas
mess food can be improved ,they should provide separate veg and non veg

Placement Experience:

From Third semester onwards students are eligible for Campus Placement Google,Microsoft,Nvidia,Qualcomm,Amazon,Paytm. Highest Package is around 42 Lpa and average is around 20 Lpa Around 80 % students are Placed. I will try my best in Campus Placements

Placement Experience:

To be frank enough the placement of IIT is very excellent. Not only did the industrial leader visit the campus but IIT Hyderabad also promotes start-ups to take part in the recruitment drive. That gives us an opportunity to be part of a startups group. Companies like Accenture Japan, Google, Microsoft, MTX, Rakuten, TSMC, Tech Mahindra visit the campus. The highest placement package during our batch was 55 LPA from Google and the average package was around 17.50 LPA

Remarks:

Research wise not that great, the curriculum is more oriented towards the industry needs, and the funding for research is very less from the government compared to other big institutions in the country

Remarks:

College is one of the best in India for studing biotechnology and bioinformatics. Placements are mostly based on student initiatives. College however provides all necessary support, help and connections.

Remarks:

I heard they always force the students to pay the fees in time. Some times we feel egoistic, aggressive behavior among the students and lectures. In case of any adhoc work or when lectures doesn't responds in time for days together we will see impatience between the students and management. During our period, couple of lectures are changed because they are not able to co-operate with the students.

My smooth path to student visa success

I chose samskruthi college of engineering and technolgy because it is a JNTUH afficated, NAAC "A" grade college with good faculty and labs for Mechanicla engineering, and My TS EAMCET rank matched this college cutoff range.Other options i considered were similar tier colleges in hyderabad. But they are far from my home or the mechanical seats were already filled during the couselling.Samsruthi gave me a confirmed seat through the convener quota. So it was practical and safe chocie for me. The admission process was simple: First i wrote TS EAMCET after completion of my Intermediate,then i attended online counselling,locked my options with the college code(SMSK) and branch as mechanical engineering and finally reported to the campus with my originals for verification and fee payment.For B.Tech,Student generally need to pass intermediate at least 60%. most students prefer TS EAMCET as the main entrance exam. while a few join through management quota based on merit in their qualifying exam.
