Course Curriculum Overview

There are a number of courses available in the college. They have been mainly classified into four categories. Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Commerce and Faculty of Education are the four main course structure. Under these there are many other courses available.

Placement Experience

The Mangalore University, Center for Distance Education focuses on the placements & job opportunities for the students. It offers almost complete job opportunities and placements with the top leading companies all over the world. It also provides internship facilities for students who are very interested in.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee in the college various for the number of departments available in the college. For the PG and the UG there are different fee structure followed. Yet the fee in all the department is found to be very affordable. Fee in all the department is to be paid at the start of every year, thus the fee includes for both the semester.

Campus Life

The college gives equal importance to all the extracurricular activities and events taking place in the college. It provides the students with facilities of sports ground, an excellent Library, laboratories for every department and many more. Students find them active participating in all the events, celebrations and extracurricular activities provided by the college.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel in the University is located within the campus area of Mangalore University and also encourages its students to imbibe the culture of the University for their academic and personal betterment. All the necessary facilities are available in the hostel to help out the student in any way.

Admission

The admission in the university is based on Merit. Candidates seeking admissions to UG and PG programs are admitted on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying examination in aggregate. He or she can apply to the college by filling the application form and submitting to the college. Upon verification of the form and the certificates the candidates are selected and further admission process is being followed.

All the four main department is been run by the head of the department. This person is solely responsible for all the activities of the department. He / She will be a person highly graduated with doctorate in any field. There also many staff members allocated for each subject in the department. Every staff is very responsible and helpful to students in every way.

Likes

The environment in the college is really good, there is no ragging and discipline is taken seriously
The facilities provided by the college like auditorium, library, amphitheatre, labs, classroom with smartboards and proper internet connection
The faculty here are really understanding and provide real life examples which makes learning easier and way more fun

Dislikes

Attendance is mandatory in the college which includes having atleast 75% of attendance.
There is a dresscode in college and we have to dress in formal attire only
College is far from house which makes it difficult to reach on time if traffic is there

Placement Experience:

There are 240+ companies that come for placements which include Deloitte, KPMG, Neolntelli, Grant Thornton, etc.. There are few students who even opt for going to further studies instead of getting placed... The highest package offered is 9LPA whereas the average package is around 6LPA.

Likes

I like the campus So much the infrastructure . They have amphitheater where we can sit and enjoy the nature ,the fresh air and students also meet up which helps in networking
I like the faculties here, they are so polite and good teachers who help us in studies whenever I need. They are easily approachable
I like the facilities that are provided here like foods, cleanliness, hygiene, faculties behavior

Dislikes

I don't like the strict rules like attendance have to 75 above

Placement Experience:

In our college we get placement from 5th semester there are 240 companies where student gets placement like big 4 companies, infosys,google,etc In our college 80%- 90% students get placed but other students go for higher studies after their bachelor After getting my bachelor degreeI will get a job

Likes

The faculty is very friendly and always encourage us to speak up in class and be more confident.
There are a lot of events that take place, most of which are conducted by students themselves.
The hostel is located in the campus itself so it makes going and coming quicker and safer too.

Dislikes

The attendance is very strict about attendance
The classes can feel tiring especially if you aren't habituated to sitting for more than one hour in one place

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year that is during the 5th semester. Many companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, Grant Thornton, EY as well as Goorej are some of the most prominent industries. There is also a one week immersion with IIM Bangalore as well as a 10 day program in Singapore.

Likes

We have faculties who take interest in teaching students and they provide relatable examples
The dress code is not as strict as in other colleges.
Awesome infrastructure and presence of greenery everywhere in the campus

Dislikes

Hectic schedules and classes from morning till evening
Not enough interval between the classes.
No playground, stationary shops and not enough printing availability within the campus

Placement Experience:

The average placement salary is 900000 rupees for BBA and BCom. They have placement cell for training the students to get placed in very good companies. Nearly 154 companies come to ISME for placement. Some students prefer to do their post graduate course abroad

Likes

We have good faculties, who are very friendly and approachable
Study matarial is also very helpful, we are getting enough information and learnings we want
Corporate exposure of this college is amazing...we are getting good internships related to our feild

Placement Experience:

240 recruiters come to this college....we have industry trajectory program, placement oriented term, mock interviews, workshops. We have average package of 8pla and highest package is 17 lpa. We have career opportunities cell which prepare you for summer internships and final placement. In ITP students get stipend between 25 to 40k.

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Professors are highly qualified, approachable, and supportive.
Average packages for MCA students are around 4-5 LPA
Well maintained labs, classrooms, and library

Dislikes

While placements are good, more tie-ups with product-based companies and startups could improve opportunities
Some of us feel the syllabus could be modernized faster to match industry trends
Admission and office related processes are time consuming

RNSIT MCA placements are good. Students become eligible from second semester, with average packages around 4-5 LPA. Over 50 companies visit in a year, offering roles in software development, data analysis, and IT services.

Lectureres having very good knowledge about there subject and they will teach us in the easy techniques.
Revision classes is much needed for all students it is very useful to remember the concept
They will do the Practical classes, which is much needed for medical students

Dislikes

The classrooms are small and we had faced little adjustment issues
The building was very near to main road and there is no enough space

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is very fair enough. By the last semister the students are eligible for campus selection. I selected for the clumax medall company in the campus selection before completion of my board examination.

I did my PUC and completed it with distinction. Medical records technology was one of the growing industries during my days and hence I joined that course. The selection is very simple like filling out the application form and attend the interview on the suggested date by the college.
