    REMARKS

Good to be part of this college. Management of the college is extremely supportive and highly motivating to students studying in any of the courses offered by college.

  • ENTRANCE PREVIEW

I appeared in the CEPT common entrance test and scored around 85% for this course out of a huge competition of almost 500 students. Only 30 seats were available. After clearing the entrance test, 2 rounds of interview were taken and I got selected.

  • FEE STRUCTURE AND FACILITIES

fees structure for CPM course- 75000/- per semester. Its near about 3 lacs for entire 4 semesters. I felt the fees structure as feasible according to education standards. Scholarship was also provided to GATE cleared students. scholarship in the range of 10000-20000 was provided to eligible students.

    CAMPUS LIFE

Extra curricular activities like games, workshops, music festivals, food festival etc. were quiet good and encouraging. Students and faculties both used to enjoy a lot. Robotics and debate competitions were also held at a huge level wherein students from international universities also participated.

  • EXAM STRUCTURE

Exam structure was chilled out. Exams are not conducted very frequently. However, assignments submission was very frequent.

    COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

The electives included the Current Infrastructure practices, Project management tools, equipments and methods, Value engineering, Quantitative techniques, advanced construction technology. Also learn about the project management softwares as part of curriculum.

    COLLEGE EVENTS

All festivals like Diwali, Holi, Navratri, Ganesh puja, etc. were celebrated in the college with great enthusiasm and dedication. Sports like cricket matched (World Cup) was also celebrated in the college. Technical events from each of the courses were celebrated for nearly about 2-3 days with guest lectures, participation of students in various events, workshops, etc.

  • LOAN/ SCHOLARSHIP PROVISIONS

Not availed. I am not aware about the same as I never needed any loan facility. Will have to enquire from the college finance department about the same. However, I am sure this facility is available. But no one of my friends availed either.

A genuine effort by the college!

Remarks -

I miss the good old days at SKIPS! The college was an enabler in every sense for me. I already had considerable industry experience in Supply Chain prior to joining my PGDM however, SKIPS through its rigour and industry focused curriculum helped me gain better mileage for my career. I saw a steady jump of 80% in my salary package post my PGDM- int he same field.

I took MAT in the year 2014 and got 97.66%. I opted for St. Kabir Institute of Professional Studies for the infrastructure and the faculty. I was really impressed when I went for the open day for the first time and I remember the kind of intellectually stimulating conversation I had with faculty there.
