IGRUA, Multi-Crew Co-operation Course (MCC)

Course Curriculum Overview

The total duration of the course was 10 days and the Aim of the course is to enable the pilot to became proficient in multi-crew co-operation in order to operate safely multi-pilot, under IFR and the Course was conducted by an ex-airline and very experienced commander by taking care of safety. also, Training was conducted on DA 42 multi-engine aircraft simulator by an ex-airline commander.

Placement Experience

Yes, we got placement but most of the seniors are working with Indian government such as Shri Dilip Jawalker, he is Principal Secretary, Department of Aviation, Government of Uttarakhand, Shri Ashwani Lohani he is the Chairman & Managing Director of Air India Limited, AVM Sanjeev Raj, he is Assistant Chief of Air Staff (ACAS)(Training) in Air Headquarters, Ministry of Defence.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees were expensive because the course is known as an expensive course in the world, so the application fee was Rs. 75,000/- per candidate and we had to pay in advance, also there was an extra charge of mess and may cost approximately Rs. 12,000/- per month. they also provided us with separate hostels for both boys and girls on twin sharing, which cost around INR 1500/Month.

Campus Life

Yes, we had workshops in our academy. Basically it was an aviation academy so most of the workshops are related with the aircraft only, I have seen alot of aircraft like Zlin Z242 L fleet which is available for ab-initio training and it is equipped with all modern radio aids such as ILS, VOR, ILS DME, Transponder & GPS and a TB ?20 aircraft, which is used for initial flying training.

Admission

The original Marksheets of 10+2 must be produced at the time of Interview or during the Aptitude Test. also apart from this the online exam is conducted all over india and the candidate can mention three test centres of their own choice. For general category the marks in 10+2 is 50% for the entrance and for Sc/St it is 45%.

Faculty

Faculty were very experienced and talented. Our trainers had more than 15 years of experience. Most of them were retired air force officers and with the help of their experience we learned alot, In this regard I have no word to say how much my faculty was good.

Likes

Environment is good, the overall environment is calm
The hostel is good, it is hygienic and provides regular maintainence
The campus feels quiet safe and have good security with strict regulations

Dislikes

The network connectivity is not up to the mark
There are very less number of cultural events taking place in this college
Hectic study schedules which leaves no time for extra curricular activitoes

Placements of thos college is quiet good Many big companies provides internships and placements This year also quiet many students got placed TCS visited the campus for hiring Average packhage is 15 lakh per annum

What I See at SRM Ghaziabad

Likes

I really appreciated the college clubs and hackathons.
There are variety of events throughout the semester, something to always keep you on your feet.
Some of the faculties are really really experienced and have a unique approach that captures the attention of all the students.

Dislikes

Not many hotspots around campus to hang out after classes.
The infrastructure of the hostel can be improved a lot.
Food in mess is not great, the menu is not very diverse. Everything has aloo.

Placement Experience:

Placements are actually impressive with our college having the highest placement rate among others in the region. We usually achieve ~90% placement. We get opportunities from many large groups, such as Infosys, TCS, JPMC, BNY, Logitech, etc etc The list goes on. The highest package that I saw was of around 1Cr from a company I don't remember their name, but it was based out of SF and was a really great one. Average placement we see is around 12-20LPA packages.

Life at SRM.

Likes

A good and friendly environment on campus where students from all around nearby cities and states stay together in harmony.
Interactive classes and faculty is also very supportive.
The campus has all basic facilities from food to stationary.

Dislikes

The food may sometimes be not very good.
The campus has less places to spend some free time other than some spots.
Due to small academic hall places may look too crowded.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is really one of the the factors convincing everyone to take admission in SRM ,average package from the college is of around 10,00,000 which is really a very good amount in todays stresfull market.

I liked the faculties of my college they are very supportive and helpful towards the students.
I like the curriculum which more learning based then theory

I don't like the attendence system of our college it very hectic to students
There is lot of focus on exam in my college which I don't like
Syllabus are not updated in our college we are studying very old things

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for this course because I want to be a software engineer. I chose my course because it was well-informed, and my interest was also in this field from the start. The faculty members and platform were also quite good for nurturing personal skills and making one a skilled and disciplined person in life. I wish this course would focus more on practical things rather than being theoretical. Events, fests, and the campus environment are also very good and pleasing to the eye. Connectivity was also easy from all around the world due to its location. Scholarships were also awarded to almost every student.

There are very good and highly qualified Faculties for each subject.
There is lot of clubs and groups which give exposure to the students.
Location of College is best in Greater Noida

Dislikes

There is little busy management and take time to respond query.
Highly busy schedule of college timings.
There can be delay in examinations from its expected date.

Placement Experience:

Placement in GCET is one of the good In greater Noida colleges. The average package of this college is 4-6 L.P.A. Companies like TCS, J.P Morgan, Josh Technology, L.G etc visited every year. Mass recruiters like wipro,infosys,capegemini also visited every year. About 85% students every year placed from the college. After getting degree my plans are getting very good placemnt from this college.

In my college placement is good and increasing every year as I have heard from s masters senior in past 4 days 1000 students have been placed and placements are still going on and there is a dedicated placement cell in our college and also skilled students can get upto 40-60LPA and average is 6-7 LPA and my plans after degree is to go for masters as I have intrest in MTECH too and 60-70% gets placement and it's still increasing and companies visit such as wipro hcl LG delloite etc

I liked the faculty here, they are well qualified and experienced
The way the faculty is trying hard with the students is very good.
Students are good here too they are cooperative with each other.

Dislikes

Library doesn't open after college hours.
Less events organised here in comparison of other engineering colleges.

I chose this course because i did diploma in computer science engineering so after that i chose to do BTech in cse for better opportunities. Here I am really learning some computer languages by which I am making some projects. Exams timing is they held in evey 5-6 months.and this is a decent time to prepare for the semester exams.

good exposure for kids to grow and flourish. Good student crowd. People from all different backgrounds are there and students are mostly smart and are willing to learn new things. Overall good exposure for students
Good cafeteria will reasonable food and both north and south India food options
Regular events and seminars are conducted with guests lectures

Dislikes

Very pricey fee structure, fee could have been a little less
Attendance policy is very strict and follows mandatory 80% attendance
Placements are not that great as off now

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Would say that's it's average. Like other colleges only. However one good thing is we have one or two elective paper almost every semester in which we can choose particular subjects according to our interest.
