Anurag's Review On Pearl Academy, Bangalore

Pearl academy is a very good institution for students who want to go into fashion industry, design , media etc.The International programs which are offered by the university provide the blending of different cultural around the globe. The national collaborations including the Fashion design council of India , Home furnishing sector , IGNOU, offer wide exposure to the students.Moreover the Pearl Utsav organized by the society serve as a good platform to showcase the talent of our college students in different fields like music, arts, artifacts. fashion and design, etc.

The course in the media field are so organised as to make students professionals in the journalisim field.Our college program brings all in together the best practises in extracurriculum activities , by creating radio podcasts, produce information regarding the newspapers.We are even provided with tv bulletins , running the campaigns on public relations, creating blogs and video setups and working on different social media platforms so as to ensure that our projects are up to date with the changing technology.

Last year top companies like Capgemini, BBC , Carat lane jeweler, Viacom, SONY , Aditya birla and groups recruited most of the students of our batch . One of our batch mate Srishti has bagged a record breaking package of 32 LPA , which was the highest among our batch.There are plenty of job opportunities at a student's disposal it just need the adequate knowledge to grab these opportunities which is provided by our institution.

Total fees for two years is around 19.18 L which is more or less than most of the fees of top B-schools of the country. I know this fees structure is a little expensive , but the amount of hardwork that this institution puts in to provide all valueable knowledge to the students pays off.

As we all know that the extra curricular activities are a part of students life therefore Pearl academy offer a great range of activities to its students so as to enhance their skills practically and in all the relevant fields related to media, creative and craft classes, music classes , fashion management and different design modules.I have participated in face painting competition in which I was given the consolation prize . Other activities like cross stitch , dance competition , drama classes also happen at our college.Various sports activities like yoga, aerobics and football competition are also held in order to enhance a person's skill other than in academics.

We have an amazing hostel facility with good air conditioned rooms . I have opted for a single bed so my hostel expenses are quite more. If a person wants a double seater or a three seater room they can demand for that if only it is available.The mess food is quite good and healthy and different state food are made on occasional nights.I would rate the infrastructure of the college 9/10.

A entrance test is conducted by the university for the students belonging to different states.I have applied to the college via online mode .As I was seeking admission in it's masters program I uploaded my Mat score which was needed for the admission process along with the other documents.Other entrance exams like GMAT and CAT are also considered for the evaluation process.Therefore when I was shortlisted I was called for the personal interview round which was pretty much cordial from both sides. They asked me questions from my graduation subject to check my skills but I answered confidently. Overall everythinh went pretty well and thus I was given admission in the college.

The faculty of the college is quite knowledgeable.They are very helpful and tell us the pros and cons of every single thing we do in mass media as there is no scope for silly mistakes.Our professor is a really good human being , he intracts with us just as a father is intracting with his children even if they commit some sort of mistake.Overall all the teachers are good and helps us to extract more information from internet.
