Entrance Preview

As soon as my PUC exams rsults were out, I went to Jain University and I was eligible for direct admission. I took it Decided to pick Jain University because I did my PU in Jain College and it was a great experience. So decided to continue.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

It was good. I had opted for the B.Com + CA + Diploma in General Management course. My electives were Accounts and Tax.There were 6 semesters and 7 Papers or Exams every semester.

Internships Opportunities

None. Internship isn't required for a student pursuing B.Com.

Placement Experience

4.5

Most of the big companies like KPMG, Deloitte, Goldman, Google, EY etc had come for placements. There were good job oppurtunities. I myself got placed in KPMG and worked for a year. It was a great experience.

College Events

4.5

Jain College is known for its fests and culturals. But the participation from college students in pretty poor. Infact, other college students show more interest in these fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very expensive and it has only gone up in recent times. We had to pay 77,000 for the 1st year and 72,000 each for the next 2 years. I heard they charge more than a Lakh these days.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio is pretty much equal. It is a great campus with lots of sports and cultural facilities. Sports and cultural events take place regularly. So there is lots of scope for extra curricular activities apart from academics.

Faculty

2

Few of them were good but most of them were not up to the mark and that was pretty disappointing. There were really good teachers for PU in Jain College but not so many for B.Com. But it wasnt a very bad experience overall. All the faculties were very friendly.

Admission:

* Once the boards result come out you need to apply for the college, along with the application fee. * After consolidating the marks and creating a merit list, you are called for a counselling round. * You will be required to select the course during the counselling process and that will be the final.

My personal opinion about this college is that please do not opt for this college. You might be happy before getting into this college but later you will suffer a lot. Be very careful what your decision is.
