Course Curriculum Overview
The course is of a duration of four years where the curriculum focuses on 2D as well as 3D graphics, user interface design, mobile games, online games, and many other subjects. All of these are taught keeping in mind both the theoretical and the practical scenarios. We are taught to create games from scratch using different latest software and technologies. Due to the nature of the course, the examinations are not perceived to be hectic at all.
Placement Experience
The college has companies such as Oppo, IBM, Accenture, Walt Disney, WDC, Amrapali etc. as their placement partners. One of the best placements that was received by a student of our college was a package of 13 lac by OLA.
College Events
Our college has collaborations with different international universities which leads to many events such as summer workshops, collaborative projects, student exchange programs and such which gives a vast opportunity to the students to expand their earning field and gain new insights into the designing world.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition Fee - Rs.199000 Exam Fee -Rs. 15500 Learning Resources - Rs. 27500 After GST the total comes to Rs. 285560 per semester. There may be certain changes depending on the financial year which will bde notified by the college. There is also a one time fee of Rs. 74930 which is to be paid along with the semester 1 fee.
Campus Life
Pear Academy takes part and also organizes a lot of fashion shows, festivals, design week and such due to the presence of numerous departments in the college. Every department can showcase their creative side in these extracurricular activities and also learn new things from each other and also from the visiting guests.
Admission
I wanted to find a good college for my undergraduate course in game design and that is when I heard about Pearl Academy from a friend. I searched online and found their curriculum to be good. I applied for the course and received a date for entrance exam and interview. The interview was fun. The interviewer asked questions about my interest in game design and why I wanted to pursue it.
Faculty
My college has some of the highly educated experts working in the industry. They have a massive hold over the subject that they teach and are very proficient in conveying us the course material in a very simple manner.
