Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is very advanced and keeps on updating according to various trends. They taught us many subjects like fashion theory, history of fashion , apparel development and introduction to textiles in the first year. As we proceeded towards our remaining 3 years our curriculum became very advanced giving us the best knowledge.
Placement Experience
Our college has the best placement record of 99%. Some of the best and most renowned companies such as aajtak, BBC, Caratlane jewellery, H&M, Myntra are mass recruiters of our college.The average salary in our time was approximately 7 lakhs and the highest package was more than 12 lakhs. Our college has various international linkages so it becomes easy for us to grab more internship opportunities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our college is very expensive as a total fees of 22 lakhs is charged for the 4 year course. The fees that is to be paid every year is 5,94,000 and along with that 8% increment in fees is done every year. The tuition and exam fee per semester costs up to 2,17,500 and 15500 respectively. Though, the fees here is very high but according to my experience studying here is the best value for money.
Campus Life
Our institute organizes various workshops some of them are ODE create fashion design workshop, fashion styling workshop and many more. These workshops gives us an exposure about the industry and the ongoing trends. There are one of the best open labs here at pearl which helps us to work in groups and also helps us to develop our communication skills. The digital learning career mentoring helps us to develop new learning skills.
Hostel Facilities
The best quality of hostels are provided by pearl academy. There are limited hostels in our college which totally gives us the feeling of home away from home. The rate of the hostel is approximately INR 3,03,250 per year. The hostels are a little expensive but the best facilities are provided to us here. The rooms are fully furnished which includes study table, dressing mirror, separate beds with mattresses, attached washrooms with geysers, washing machines etc. Dining areas are also available in the hostel and the meals provided here are of really good quality.
Admission
There is an entrance test to get admission here at Pearl Academy that includes two sections Design aptitude test(DAT) and General proficiency test(GPT).After clearing the entrance there is also a personal interview round. To get admission here one can apply online for the entrance. I cleared both the rounds and I was asked to come at the college for further documentation process.
Faculty
The faculty in our college is very proficient that provided us with expert guidance across all aspects of design and fashion. The teachers are from all over the world who are well experienced in their area of expertise. They are also very helpful and provide their support whenever required.
