    PLACEMENT WING

With an MD there were many career opportunities that were presented to me as MD doctors are undoubtedly in demand. Government hospitals, Private Super Speciality Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Medical College, Bio-medical Companies are some of the places were some of the areas where I applied to work. I currently work for a privately owned clinic.

  • ADMISSION

For my MD course we were required to sit for NEET PG entrance exam. That with my graduation results were verified by the university. They looked if i was qualified and sound to attend the course and then contacted me about the admission procedure.

  • HOSTEL FACILITIES

Hostels are available to the students in first come first serve basis. There are many rooms but you need to make sure you check the availability. There are many facilities in the hostels like spacious rooms, recreational rooms etc.

    FACULTY

Dr. Dilip Panakkada is an amazing head of department. He made sure we had access to him to discuss a case or clear doubts or learn something you don't know. He led the department with a iron-fist and made sure we felt welcomed. He also helped us a lot with our dissertations.

  • CAMPUS LIFE

We had many seminars and workshops to work on our skills and train ourselves. There also were many activities and programs set up by the college to raise awareness on many social issues we face in the society these days.

  • COURSE CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

The course curriculum followed the structure set by Central Council of Homoeopathy. They were the ones that set up what and how we studied. It was a practical, hands-on course whcih lasted for three years.

Aliah University is a state government controlled autonomous university in New Town West Bengal. Placements here are depended upon the students' talent. In our department, not more than 30-40% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is up to 12-14 KLPA by Amazon, Byjus, Cognizant, etc. The lowest salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. More than 90 companies visit here as on-campus and pool drive in which the top recruiters are Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, IBM and Byjus.

First of all I chose many colleges and put it in my preferring list. Of which some colleges were very good or can be said it was better than CIT though I didn't take admission in those colleges because of the fees for the course. It was more than my affording capacity. So I didn't go to those colleges. Instead of that I chose CIT because, taking admission in that college was helpful to me in several ways. First of all the fees was affordable, second it has good placement records, third facility was good enough and it was near from my residence. So that's why I chose that college.

Placement -

There are really very good placement and job opportunities. There are many students who are passed from this college and working in amazon, Microsoft,CTS,TCS,etc.

MBA done peacefully

Remarks -

I am happy that my college life went smooth as well as good. the college encourages the students to take part in various business-related simulations as well as role-play to ensure the management skill is well defined. Along with this, the medical facilities and the other domains of this college were also good.

Best Emerging University in India

Remarks -

The positives are more compare to the negatives. All the positives I have told in the above section. To remember some negatives are the fee payment issues and some rogue fights from local people. Other than that not much to mention.
