Remarks

This is one best and oldest iiit . It's palcement are very amazing .More than 90% students are placed which is among the best in India. Seniors are very helpful here. College has a good coding culture .Admission in IIIT SONEPAT or any IIIT is same as like nit which is through Jossa according to JEE mains rank . It is a institute of national importance. You can check specific dates every year on jossa and nta website. This college is far better than other college in tems of placement, overall devlopment and other activities. IIIT SONEPAT official website has all the information you need .It helped me a lot while selecting the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love computers and new era technology so I choose cse in IIIT SONEAPT. Students faculty ratio is best among in India , Currently it is 1:30. All the professor have at least doctorate degree here (PHD degree). We have 3 exams every semester. All the exams are structured very well for academic excellence .If you are consistent and focused then it very easy for you to fetch good marks .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 2 per year

Internships Opportunities

companies like amazon , jp morgan, goldman sachs, microsoft , flipkart visited the campus. Stipend can go as high as 1.5 lakhs per month depending on your skills.

Placement Experience

You will get an internship in 3rd year and you will be placed in 4th year. Almost every student who were eligible got a offer from a company. companies like microsoft, adobe, amazon , flipkart, ibm , tcs , infosys ,accenture ,morgan stanley and many other visited the campus for on campus drive. more than 90% of students get placed. As of I am still exploring different fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

As of now there is no hike in price from 2 years .You can apply for different individual scholarship from your home state .For stipend you can do internship in 3rd year.

Campus Life

Annual fest is called blitz .they are usually conducted in the month of September . Books are provided by the college. Classroom has all the necessary infrastructure and it is also air conditioned. It's upto you which sport you want to play. you can play table tennis, cricket ,badminton ,volley ball etc. There are many socities run by students like enigmatics (coding society), cem ( photography club), speakloud , fitme, ecell and etc.

Hostel Facilities

hostel rooms are well furnished and you have everything here necessary for you like water dispenser , washing machine, table ,chair, almirah and etc. Hostel food will not be like as home food. But it quite good.

My Experience in JC Bose University

Likes

I like the claim and composed environment, no one shouting or making noise
Each buliding have lift which help reach higher floor easily
Having strong alumni association which help student get placement

Dislikes

I don't like the paper work delay during the admission after paperwork
Campus less crowded places are not maintained very well
Older buliding classes don't have ac in the classroom

Course Curriculum Overview:

In Electrical course we have many kind have course which design for solving various kind of problem in field , BSC ( Basic science course ) , ESC ( Engineering Science Course ) , DSC ( Disciplinary specialized Course ) , VAC ( Value Added Course ). Professors teaches with real life example and use 3D shape and animation to explain things easily.

placement opportunities should be improve and should provide technical support in the last year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Echelon technology provides predefined curriculam and tests, exams on weekly basis. this college will help to make projects and intrest any activies which you like. All teachers teching method is mostly common and easy to understand for both types of student first who one is coming from outside of states and the local student.

The college is spread across 300 acres of lush green campus with a lot of greenery everywhere. The weather is also very pleasant
The infrastructure of the college is well maintained with proper department and parks . The labs are well equipped with the necessary equipment required for the practical knowledge of the student.
Sports facilities are also top notch in the college and also gym is provided in the sports ground.

Dislikes

In rainy season water stands in the hostels making it difficult to move in and out of the hostel.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is decent one with average package of about 12-14 LPA amd about 85% students are placed every year. Students can apply for placements after 2nd year and companies like JP Morgan , microsoft, Hero , ICICI Bank , etc. Visit the college

Infrastructure of our college is too good,having proper ventilation system ,well equipped AC ,a hygienic environment having a lush green campus.it has proper wifi facilties in the campus. I would personaly rate it 4.5/5.
Here we get exposure to various growth opportunities like sports,studies and research.Even our college is open for students who plan to start their startup. our college provides specific amount help for students aspiring to run their own startup.
while talking about social interaction, our college has a good crowd and people are friendly so its easy to connect with them,all the faculties are expert in their domain having a good background and knowledge in their feild

Dislikes

CCTV's are not present in class which should be there for security purpose. only in the campus and corridors CCTV are present.It's kind of hard for students to get their medical certificate approved , they need a lot of formalities.
Mess food is not upto the mark, it should have been better thats why students have to go to canteen and food stalls to eat food and in campus girls to boys ratio is too less .less number of girls as compared to boys.
The library space is also very short ,it get's crowder and filled up during exam times so students have to go to other libraries present in the campus and it gets hard for student to study in summer's outside the library.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Likes

I liked the environment alot. The infrastructure is very good.
The food court is also very good and provide good food on affordable price.
I like the teachers alot they are very easygoing and friendly to communicate with.

Dislikes

I don't like the uniform system as they ask us to wear it daily.
There should be days atleast once a week where we can wear casuals in college.
The teachers are very strict about the study.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placement Experience:

Placement at college is average mostly 80% of students are placed in this college student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Companies like Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, and swiggy, mostly company visit here highest package in 2023 is approx. 28 LPA and the average package is 5-6 LPA.

Best affordable quality college for middle-class

Likes

Good and well-spaced campus of the college.
Good placements with high salary packages at reputed companies.
Good, affordable college for engineering, suitable for middle-class students.

Dislikes

Poor WiFi connection at times, when too many people use WiFi at the same time.
Generator works till 11pm only at normal days.
Hostel food needs improvement, lack of quality chefs.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.

Don't join the college as they doesn't care about your career Faculty is bad and also doesn't have minimum experience and qualifications Teachers will change every semester or even teachers can leave the job in mid semester. If want a good career then don't go for it

My college experience is very good.There are a lot of activities held in our college including fests whetger technical or cultural.Most of our memories made through these fests.They are the most important memorable days of our life.Beside the studies there are a lot of things which effect a lot.One must enjoy the beautiful moments of his College Life .

During the CSAB Counselling i also filled many NITs and some IIITs but at last i got IIIT Sonepat. You can get the admission through JOSAA/CSAB after giving JEE Mains. if you want to take admission in the college you have to appear for the jee main entrance exam which is conducted by the NTA ,after passing the exam you have to appear for jossa counselling which will be conducted online ,once you get the seat you need to fill the form circulated by the institute ,and you have to appear in the institute for document verification once documents are verified your admission will be confirmed,NTA conduct the jee main entrance twice in a year in the month of january and april...Read More

Review of IIIT Sonepat

To take admission in this college the candidate needs to qualify jee mains and register themselves in JOSAA counselling to get a seat.For foreing students DASA is the counseling facility. There are reservations for category but not for female canditate. In a year there are four mid sems each of one hour paper two papers a day which lasts for 3 days. And 2 end sems which are for 3 hours a paper one paper a day and lasts for 2 weeks.The papers are easy and there are practical exams 2 times a year for 2 hours a paper and lasts for 1 week....Read More
