Entrance Preview

I joined through Management Quota. I wanted the best because my parents were paying shit load of money for my education and I wanted the best place to get the better out of what they were spending for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the computer subjects including C/C++ Programming, Operating Systems, Microprocessors, System Design etc. and we had Programming languages, JAVA, .Net as electives.

Internships Opportunities

Robosoft is the company which offered internship at that time. They offered a stipend amount of 8000 INR. As I couldn't pass through the interview for the internship , I dont have any experience to share about it.

College Events

Alvas has the biggest of the cultural events happened in that area. The annual cultural events like Nudisri and Virasat just give you a visual retreat from the cultural performance of artists all around the globe.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was bit expensive for a middle class family like mine. I was paying around 1.5 lakhs an year. But compared to other colleges around it was less when you look into the facilities they provide.

I have been offered a scholarship of 45000 rs by Karnataka Govt based upon my previous academic history.

Gender ratios - We had equal participation of boys and girls in the events. Hostel Parties - We had best parties Workshops - Regular workshops on all the trending technologies Cultural societies - We had bands, really good music bandsI havent heard about any single case of any sort of discrimination issues thoughout my academics.

The best hostel rooms, cleaned on regular basis. Seamless water and electric supply, High speed WIFI.

Alumni/Alumna

We didnt have any seniors. We were the first ever batch of AIET. We always tried to be best with our juniors. At least from my side I made sure that I will good to all of them.

Exam Structure

Let me be frank I used to chilled out and get out after each exam day though I am not a studios guy.

As in every institution, there were good as well as bad faculties. I am concentrating on the best. AIET provided us the best for us in that category. You cant explain the experience of learning mechanical engineering fro a retired ISRO engineer and the Best mathematician who has a number of publications which has been referred by reputed universities around the globe.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
