Remarks

Overall, my P.hD is going great with this institution, and its worthwhile. With great staff and faculty, I get all the help I need to finish my program successfully. The college provides great amenities for its students.

Course Curriculum Overview

This doctorate is a two-year-long program and a large part of it is research-focused. The course structure is very advanced and updated. It can get really hectic with the coursework. Exams are tough as well and you have to work really hard.

Placement Experience

The institution upholds an excellent reputation. Since its P.hD program students receive the stipend. Besides that, they also provide placement opportunities for the students. Many government organizations come to recruit students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is about Rs.40,000 which I think is feasible. Given the reputation and quality of education, it is a reasonable amount to pay. Since the students receive a stipend, it would be quite easy to manage through it.

Campus Life

The institution provides a number of standard facilities for the students. Well equipped laboratories and computer labs. We also have a great library which helps a lot academically. The canteen facilities are also great in the college. Workshops and seminars are also conducted.

Admission

Our institution was established in 1989. CIPHET is under ICAR and the admission based on the entrance exam. We have to fill out the application online and submit it. Merit list would be put up which would decide whether you've got it or not.

Faculty

The entire faculty consists of well-qualified and knowledgeable members. They have years of experience and is very professional. They share a lot of information that is out of the syllabus which is very useful and practical in the real world.

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level

Good college

The admission in this college is quite tough, as being a government college. Either we can enter through NET examination or through Integrated entrance exam of the institute. I joined this institute for my course and have done my Msc from other college. We can apply online for admission and the entrance fees is also very low, exam was conducted on a large scale through out the state and then there will be process of certificate verification. There is a lot of competition for this college as it?s one of the best Institute for agricultural studies and students all over the nation try to get into this college....Read More
