Remarks

I choose this college because this college have 3 full time courses in options. And alumina of this college is very strong and it helps in placement. College is located in pune, weather of pune is also beautiful.

Course Curriculum Overview

Academics wise this course is better for those who have interest in real estate world and also like infrastructure. More or less this course content MBA Subject. Faculties are also good and Interactive.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, I got opted in Pune Metro Co Ltd. But due to covid-19 I won?t be able to do my internship. About process there some companies who select student by resume shortlist and other companies who followed strict format like resume short listing, aptitude test, GD and PI.

Placement Experience

In our senior?s batch approx 170-180 companies visited. Profile offered like project manager, BIM, marketing firms, contracts and more. Placement process is also very strict. Placement department worked very hard. About alumni- alumni network is very strong. In construction industry Companies like oberoi, HCC, shaporji palonji, L&T, TATA prefer NICMAR students. Overall placement is good.

College Events

Campus life. well whatever I?ll it want cover in this box. It was best moments of my life. College holds 4 festivals like sports, technical, cultural. every festival is awesome. And excluding this. we are indians and we have so festivals to celebrate. and every festivals we celebrated there. that was real fun. Beside this academic wise also campus is good.

Campus Life

Infrastructure of is really cool. I?d like that. Academic building which content every class room, auditorium and little bit option space. Hostel buildings- 3 for boys and 1 for girls. For sports 1 football ground, tennis court, basketball court, badminton court, indoor games And gym.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are best. There are 4 hostel buildings 3 for boys and 1 for girls. For boys 1 student-1 room. Overall my experience in hostel is memorable. 24 hrs hot water, in door games area like carrom, table tennis, badminton, etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 34000 per year

My special 3 years which I spend was golden to me

Likes

Most important thing I like about my college is they are like the whole college is so creative.
There are many different batches or mat department but when it comes to fest or festivals they comes together to celebrate it
Talking about placement, the placement cell is soo good that I'll say every colleges should have this level of college cell as they invited, big companies such as Deloitte, hdfc bank,KPMG

Dislikes

The point which I dislike about my college is they should increase campus
Some of the teachers really need to behave like when they talk to students they don't know the manners
Basically the watchman is not good at all I personally feel that they really need to change their watchman as their is many girls in my college so at least one or two lady watchmen should college hire for their safety

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my college they provide us a presentation concept in which they teach us about how to face the real world and the remove the fear of speaking to world .they try to make every student more confident in any manner. Basically my department is soo good that they teach us alot of real world how to speak,how to look,how to handle everything in professional manner

Likes

Infrastructure is so good of this college yeah the campus is not that huge but the way the managed the infrastructure is so good the auditorium of the college it is best
Faculties of the college are so good they are not rude they all have PHDs and all are so good at their own subjects
Girls to boys ratio are also way better than other engineering colleges you will see 30 girls and 40 boys in a classroom

Dislikes

The area near the college is so bad means there is slum behind the college
The college have very strict rules for the events
College have not provided any hostel facility near the college, college have hostel but it is 40 min away from the college by local train

Placement Experience:

You will be eligible for campus placements from 7th semester once you have done your internship. There are various companies that visits college every year like TCS ,Works Application, Uniqlo and Amazon Web Services etc Highest package offered was 37.5 lakhs and the average package is 4-4.5 lakhs Every year around 60-70% students are placed in this college I am planning to have masters in IT.

Honest review of my College

Likes

Infrastructure, air conditioned labs, classrooms
Big Library, den to play online and offline games
Fun events, verve( annual college event)

Dislikes

Area around college is a not good, cleanliness is not there
Bus frequency is very less for dadar, wadala bus frequency is very good
Every Monday tests, weekend gets ruined , can't focus on developing new skills.

Placement Experience:

College placement is pretty good. Many students are not sitting for the placements, they are going for higher studies like mtech, masters and mba. the average package is 4-5 lpa. Highest package is 25 lpa off campus.

Placements are really good of the college Indira college of engineering and management pune Highest package was 240000. And minimum package is 12-15 lakh per month. Almost every student in this college get placement

Small class size allows for individual attention and equal opportunity
Decent location, close to mumbai and thane
Good patient load, good exposure to cases

Dislikes

High patient load and small batch size makes internship very tiring and hectic compared to other colleges
Current administration is not supportive of extra curricular and co curricular activities like exchange programs and fests
Poor research culture, very few opportunities to do good research

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is standard for all MBBS courses. There are theory lectures and practical classes. Hospital exposure begins in the second year onwards. Current revisions in the course like introduction of logbook etc are unnecessary and time consuming.

Academically very good college. All activities for working in a company are fulfilled
Helpful nature of teaching and other staff
Strict in terms of submission and exams.

Dislikes

Crowd of students not that good as there are minority students.
Some teaching staff are not good teachers
No ground and need for permission for every small things

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from sem6 for placement. Companies visiting are Tata, Cape Gemini, Tech Mahindra, etc. Highest package was 1.2 cr and average is 4.5 L . Students getting placed are 95%. My plan is to pursue Msc.

Dislikes

There was some problem regarding washroom but it's renovation has started now
The College gate is under construction so students have to come from hospital gate
They Very Strict regarding Academics and Examination

Our new batch is of CBDC curriculum which is laid by National Commission of homoeopathy which is very new for students and teachers also they are trying to Follow CBDC curriculum as much as possible.we are happy about new syllabus and teaching

Likes

College faculty is very good and. Supportive.
Teaching methods is also good they try to cover all topics.
Infrastructure is also good . Mell maintained laboratories.

Dislikes

Fees is quite high for open category students.
College do not provide internship.Students have to apply for internship externally.
Placement issue is there it depend upon the year.

Placement Experience:

The student becomes eligible in 4 th year as the company start to visit during period of the last semester. Cipla, Hindustan antibiotics, new life, Dr reddy, sun Pharma etc The highest package was 800000 and the minimum 200000. Very few students get placed as due to increase in competition we have to do mpharm.

Teachers are well qualified and experienced
The curriculum is suitable for students who are doing professional courses like CA CS ACCA etc.
There is always a scope for starting a side hustle in this college. You will find many associations and clubs

Dislikes

The examination results are always unexpected. Correction of papers and result declaration is unsatisfactory as marks are not given properly.
The extra facilities provided in college seems to be just for name sake because there is very limited time to access the facilities.
The schedule of the college is dynamic and there is no concrete timetable. Teachers complete their syllabus in last moment

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is relative to Mumbai University curriculum. College takes intiative in making the student confident as it includes practicing presentation skills and builds communication skills simultaneously.

The timings and attendance issues need to resolved. Long hours of college and school like atmosphere. There is not enough appreciation for extra curricular activities besides during one month of the fest.

I only applied for government colleges in Maharashtra ,Gujarat and Delhi. The main reason I choose this college specifically was it's industry connect and the image of college in the industry. Throughout the world in civil University is quite well known. I got rejection from NITs and it is due to my low score in the JEE mains exam. For admission NICMAR University Pune they have their own online exam and if you pass that there is a personal interview which you have to clear. They also consider JEE mains mhtcet exam also but the personal interview is compulsory. NICMAR through my eyes

So, the reasons for which I took admission into this colleges are firstly it's recognition i.e. this college is recognised as Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation by DISR, Ministry of Science and Technology that comes under Govt. Of India.Also, our NICMAR offers training in specialized areas like real estate management, construction management, Infrastructure management and allied areas. Also, it has been granted by UNDP. Further, the placement rate to-date is 99.6% of the course I opted for. And the college fee is not so high as compared to other management colleges with so many facilities. So, these were the reasons but now I am going to mention the whole process of admission.
