Entrance Preview

It was a merit based selection, and I took admission in the Master of Library and Information Science (MLISc). Library Science came to my mind when I was in Graduation 2nd Year and became one of my favourite subject thereafter and I could progress a lot in this are.

Internships Opportunities

There was scope of intern-ship in the library to learn the practical aspect of what we learnt in the classroom and they used to offer a basic stipend for that. An intern was allowed to learn in al the sections of the library and increase their knowledge level.

Placement Experience

There was no scope for on campus recruitment/placements, but it didn't matter a lot as this course was of that kind where you can go for intern ship after the completion of the course and make your own way to get the job.

College Events

There used to be a line up of events throughout the year:Alumni Event,Hindi Saptah Samaroh,NSS,NCC events,Independence Day,Republic Day,Other cultural events,Sports events,Inter-college events/competitions,Essay writing, poem writing Competitions etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There were a number of scholarship available for various categories of the students.Concessional fee for needy students, scholarship for needy and backward category students etc were also available.Books were available on load from book bank on a very nominal annual fee.

Placement Experience:

The placement here at Sharda was too good. Students start attending the Placement interviews and calls from the last semester. I was personally made into 4 companies and 4 offer letters were offered to me. The average package is 3.8 lakhs per annum and highest was about 11 lakhs. There is 100% placement in every dept. but it depends on students if they want to attend or not. After getting the degree i studied for my PhD entrace and now i am working.

Excellent Place for higher education

Remarks:

My college provide best education and hostel facility in india.Security is very good. Managment is very good.Transport facility inside the campus in now very good. Placements : The institute actually has very good placement records due to its outstanding alumni and also due to the presence of placement and training cell working day and night to indulge its students with skills and leadership. So, the placements in our college have never been a problem. Infrastructure : With almost hundred years on the calendar, our campus is luxurious from inside and filled with modern day necessities from inside. We have every resource that a student wants in his college life such as largely spaced room, Wi-Fi everywhere around the campus and many more things. So, the campus is unmatched. Faculty : The faculty members are nice, and I found them very helping and motivating. On the other hand, the course curriculum is a bit boring but essential too. A load of academics is very less compared to other IITs and hence students can do anything they want and could carry on their interest. I feel very proud to be a part of IIT BHU. Other : There are three main fests in our college, Kashiyatra, Technex and Spardha. All the fests are held at very high level. Participation from many IITs, NITs and other different colleges from many parts of India make our fests super big and exciting.

The university is good when we talk about campus and beauty but there are some problems which should be resolved.

I chose bundelkhand University dur to its easier Admission Process i.e., Less competitive compared to Tier-1 colleges. Affordable education compared to private institutions.
