Remarks

It is one of the best colleges for commerce and as it is in Mumbai, placement opportunities are also good. Also it focuses on all the aspects, being it extra curricular or education. It has a brand name. While comparing it with other shortlisted colleges that I chose, this one was the best for commerce.

Course Curriculum Overview

This year my college has become autonomous, so the syllabus and pattern has changed. I wish that would've happened earlier. Our faculty is very helpful and co ordinative. The course is a great one as management studies cover all the aspects needed in a company or while doing any sort of job.

Internships Opportunities

I have applied for internships but not through my college. They are:1. Human resources intern- at commondove2. Marketing intern -at Echobird electronics LLP3. Marketing and operations intern or UNSCHOOL Community champion- at unschool(All were unpaid)

Placement Experience

4

Soft skills trainings are provided to us who wish to apply for the placements in the third year, and people willing to take up internships are added to a Google group where we receive mails regarding the internship and job opportunities and we can apply directly. The soft skill trainings is for preparing us to sit for the interviews and the work ethics. One is required to have a minimum of 85-90% attendance in those training sessions to apply for placements in the final year.

College Events

5

Our college has one of the best fests named umang, and has diverse organizations and all focus on different aspects. There is RCNM, which focuses on all aspects and has a socio cultural fest named ROTOFEST. Then we have NSS, MUN club, nature and wildlife club, concious club, economic association, advertisement and marketing cell, investment and finance cell, hobby centre, brand building committee, friends of library, cultural society, computer society, planning forum, enactus, intent and many more. The participation is great as there are events for people with different interests.

Campus Life

Right now my college is under construction, as it's renovating so it has shifter to another building with another college and that building it great. It has enough number of lifts, it's centralised air conditioned and to have a systematic working floors are allotted to both the respective colleges. And there is a reading room, e-library, normal library and a computer room. WiFi access is there in the E-library for everyone to use the computers.

Hostel Facilities

I stay in a rented flat whose rent varries from 10-25k. It depends on the area and accommodation, so there are 1 bhk, 2bhk and further and one can share the rooms or stay on single occupancy and the rent differs in all these aspects

Clara's College of Commerce, Bachelor of Management Studies [BMS]

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.
