Entrance Preview

I write VITMEE exam conducted by vit university once a year for 110 marks but they make it for 100 and announce ranks not marks, and after some days they call me to attend for counseling, there we have to select our course according to ranks & availability and pay 10,000rs for booking a seat.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very satisfactory, we have hardly 4 classes in a day. Sat & Sun are holidays. We can choose our faculty at the time of sem registration. Moreover, we choose the morning & afternoon slots whichever is possible for u and we can attend those sessions.

Internships Opportunities

I cannot enlist the companies here as there were so many companies almost more than 225 companies and most of the MNC's. Most of them offer internships too along with job offers. Stipend offered in college is 4000 rs per person who are eligible ( gate qualified and top 4 or 8 gate scorer's as per branch).

Placement Experience

As I already mention above there are so many companies like CTS, IBM, Honey Well, Cognizant, TCS, L&T and so many. This is one of the top10 colleges in INDIA. Every year they offer at least 4500 jobs.

College Events

Riviera is the fest held by the college organized by students and invite so many stars and VVIP's for the program for 4 days. There are so many technical programs like TECH Symposium. All including more than 150 events will be held every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I can say fees were somewhat expensive but after u get the job u will felt it's all okay at the end of the day. For each year it will be like 1,50,000 for the course and 45,000 for the hostel food and 60,000 for staying in rooms.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yeah, Indian bank offered all the facilities. If u don't want u can take it from any bank as it was a reputed college any bank will give.

Campus Life

Boys and girls have individual hostels, but education was co-ed. Campus life was too good that we feel like every day is a fest and there are so many activities as I mentioned earlier there are so many fest's conducted and events were conducted attached to it and there is no racial discrimination we can freely move with everyone.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

The network connectivity in girls hostel is poor
The food at mess is average sometimes it is not taste
The practical labs are help at distance.

Placement Experience:

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

Dislikes

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students
College provide only theoretical knowledge students for practical skills

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.
