Our college is the best place to study coz of the college I studied I could settle in my life independently

Entrance Preview

Haven't took any exams other than my BE exams I took an CET entrance exam but joined the college with management quota category. My admission process was smooth and good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was fantastic and all the syllabus covered on time each semesters with the internals valuation done promptly and labs were continued in a very structured way by well experienced instructor.

Internships Opportunities

No idea about this as I wasn't joined for any internship.I joined as fresh candidate after my PUC. So I do not have any idea on the stipend part also.

Placement Experience

Placements are fairly good. Not much companies comes for placements but good thing is the 3 4 company visits does a bulk recruitment say around 100 to 150 candidates will be selected. All companies are service companies comes for placement.

College Events

Yearly event sambhrama which happens will be a very joyfull event memories cherish all the time. The events like drama dance singing will be good. The fresher orientation is to the best and the graduation also will be very nicely neatly organized

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible if the candidate is been selected in cet with govt category seat selection. If not then students has to go in comedk quota or by management quota then the fee structure is comparitively it's at higher side.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I have not availed an scholorships during my engineering days and have no idea abt the loans college availed on or before I joined the college.

Campus Life

Campus is good with the green trees surrounding and the hostel is awesome with the facilities given. There is no discrimination on the students no ragging no race religion and no pllitics

Hostel Facilities

Hostel was super fantastic with all the facilities given. The total cost per month would be 800 The food provided will be only vegetarian food and egg provided weekly once. Mainly the keep an eye on cleanliness and hygiene with is the most important things.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

We are all in contact through social networking sites and even in ways app and fed of us are in contact over phone emails and we meet often with some or other events

Exam Structure

It was good which follows by lab and written external exams. Lab exams will be bit of difficulty if the students do not have a strong debugging and problem solving skills.

Faculty

Superb awesome each department all the lectures and hod are very interactive and each time they responded us on time to clear the doubts we had. Feels so good to be a part of this college

Is NIAT worth the hype? My honest student review

Likes

You actually get to do things instead of just listening to lectures
The learning environment feels quite active
We have good exposure to the tech industry

Dislikes

The workload can get too intense sometimes
Not everything feels like a traditional college experience
The overall cost is a concern as it is a bit high

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the NIAT curriculum around four out of five. In my opinion, it is good that the curriculum is not only based on theoretical studies. The inclusion of coding, projects, assignments, and practical knowledge is quite engaging for the students, as they can apply the acquired information in practice. Additionally, I find the curriculum up to date compared to the standard Btech syllabus, which mainly focuses on theoretical background. However the curriculum could have fewer assignments, as some of them are rather time consuming and require additional study to achieve a better understanding of a particular subject.

The approachable faculty, friendly peers and the freedom to explore were one of the few things I really appreciated about our college
Our campus life is all about us, how much we decide to explore and how much we decide to keep things to ourself
The placement services and the support provided are really useful because I belong to mechanical branch and the placement rate of mechanical branch is quite high, so Obv I really appreciate the effort from the placement office.

Dislikes

The building is dusty sometimes, and also the building doesn't have a lift.
Coming to the campus amenities, drinking water is not available.
Because I belong to 29th batch, our batch are the batch to face the new syllabus, so we don't have any previous year question paper, model question paper, so accademic pressure is high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course curriculum is very relevant for real life problems, it has a lot to do with application level knowledge, so our syllabus is very efficient for all engineering students, it gives us optimum knowledge and the right amount of liberty for us to explore our own interests besides our accademics.

My Honest Review of My College

Likes

The Opportunity for Sports is very Good as there are many games available.
Support for the new project ideas and building them
The environment is very Greenish and is beautiful in every season

Dislikes

The Curriculum is very hectic and also the students face issue in keeping up with curriculum.
Not All teachers are convincing, as some of them don't deliver the concepts correctly.
Washrooms usually don't have water in here, especially in the morning

Placement Experience:

- The students become eligible for placements from the 6th sem itself. - There are lot of companies ranging from Samsung to Infosis to TCS which provide a package ranging from 4LPA to 34LPA. - Highest Package (This year): 34LPA and Lowest is 4LPA. - Students placement stats: Around 80% students get placed - My plan is to get into a good Product Based Company after my degree.

The coaching here is good but one thing is you need you cope up
Transdiciplinary project centric learning

From 2nd year they give placement training..mostly from 6th sem they allow us for placements this year the highest paid is 54Lacks per annum mostly 90 percentage of students gets placed my plan is to for a good job

teaching is mainly in regional languange
placements are about 40 to 50 percent, placements in core is bit difficult
correction for core courses are tough, .

campus placements is pretty good, from 6th sem students are allowed to take placements pretty good companies like synopsis, qualcomm, samsung and many other top requirters do come for placements. there are few people who even with backlogs have placed so it depends on the student capabilty to get placed.

KSIT - A good college with everything mixed level.

Likes

Good teachers, very friendly & teaching is good.
Easy to travel due to multiple transports.

Dislikes

Small infrastructure as the area is too small.
Not have ground to play when students are free

Placement Experience:

The on-campus usually starts in 6th Semester. A company called MathCo was the first company it came for the role of analyst. Around 5-7 people got selected. The average package would be usually around 4-4.5 LPA, but highest package was 6.25 from PlanetSpark for role of Sales. The percentage is nearly to 10-12%. After degree, get a job and work for atleast 2 years for learning current trends is my basic thought as of now.

ya the overall infrastructure is good and company placements there was well wishers in that time
teaching is not what i expected but good
mentorship quality is ok,faculty expertise is ok ,profeeional department is medium

Dislikes

they where strict and needed some cultural event for every month of one year
they dependent for notes in their classes where this is not i am interested
they will call for the phone for every wrong things to tell their parents

the curriculum was not inflenced by the decision and where the choosen course was clear and academic marks was good the teching methods need to be very friendly and didnt strict to be done so where then its superb the timing of exams is correctly done and perspective for the difficulty level appliction speceific for the students in their real wor examples
