Remarks

For the course as it was available in only two colleges only. Having to do master's program in such a stream was my passion. Cyber Forensics and Information Security is available as a package with dual kind of specialization

Course Curriculum Overview

Good well renowned faculties with great knowledge. Combined smart classroom teaching is also adopted. Good coverage of syllabus. Subject knowledge is vast and students should be able to collect all the information needed. Highly resourceful faculties.

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are conducted regularly. But a little better effort can be done. To study in such an institution means the chance to get placed. Which is not fully met. However resources are provided for off campus training and placement.

College Events

College fests are a major thing. A minimum of one or more national functions such as seminars or other workshops take place in one month. All through the year college is colourful with lot of cultural activities.

Amazing facilities as an environment with all the possible facilities. Good ventilated high end classroom. Library with a collection of both digital and manual copies of books and journals. Playground with alot of sport events.

You work through real case studies, Harvard business simulations, and a 4-to-6-month corporate internship, so you aren't completely clueless on day one at an office. They have highly qualified and experienced teachers.
For a sports enthusiast like me, having a ground is great in college is great.
There are various types of events conducted very often which provides us exposure academically, culturally, socially and it also helps our social networking and connections.

Dislikes

I think infrastructure can be improved and maintained well, than it is now.
Placement services should be improved too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom because I was a commerce student in my PUC, and I wanted to master in the same field. This course has shaped my knowledge on accounts and finance which has been some sort of a passion for me. Accounts, tally, finance, are the studies that are to be applied by anyone who's working with numbers, finances or in banks, account sectors etc which I'm doing currently, and it has really helped me a lot. The only improvement in this course that I seek is practical applications and workshops that would definitely help students enhance their skills.

ABBS is cut over rest!!

Likes

ABBS means Professionalism and therefore students have to follow the strict uniform code as assigned by our college.
No entry without icard and it has to be around our collar whole we are in college.
Cameras are everywhere and therefore no blind spot and this ensures complete security.

Dislikes

Uniform colour is very poor as it looks like colour of postman uniform.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Genpact, Amazon and you can name any name which you know in technology and they were at ABBS. Junior software developer roles were the primary roles offered to BCA students and placements worth 4-6 lakhs were offered to us.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.

Thoughts on BMSSA

Likes

Campus is amazing lot of open spaces and maintains all the greenary
The faculty is good as they all are practicing architects
The sports facility is also really good as there r lot of tournaments

Dislikes

Work load given is a lot and the pressure of submissions are unbareable
They expect a lot frm 1st sem students and forget the fact tht we jus started
Lot of teacher student rivalry and affecting the overall passing of the students

Course curriculum is amazing but again the aheets given and the expected submissions for a 1st yesr is too much and the pressure is high .the teaching methods r basically every 10 students r allotted to s mentor who then guides them thru the design process

The teaching faculty is the best here all the doctors who come to teach us are well trained and knowledgeable
The lab facilities are also very good here, we are having good access to the lab also
We are also getting easy access to the Hospital whenever we want to which is giving us good clinical knowledge

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ayurveda is holistic science in total to study about. Ayurveda helps us a lot when it comes to the application and clinical practice point of view. Ayurveda aims at mainly "Swasthasya swasthir rakshanam, athurasya vikar prashamanam" our entire curriculum is based on the aim of ayurveda which states protecting the health of a healthy person and also reversing the pathology of the diseased individual. Ayurveda mainly aims at the Doshas(vatta, pitta and Kapha) to treat the pathology and also to maintain the health of the healthy person. Ayurveda language is sanskrit so 1st year Sanskrit should be learnt properly. The term vise examination and periodic assessment are helping us to revise and learn the concept better.

Remarks:

I did a two year Master of Divinity course from the South Asia Institute of Advanced Christian Studies. The college is a top spot for studying God and for the mental and spiritual growth of a being. The college is pretty much affordable and the quality of teaching is also good. On top of that, the faculty was vell qualified.

My honest review

I mainly choose this college because I felt our college offered more campus placements compared to colleges that I got selected into . I applied to every top colleges for courses such as CS ,IS and AI .But I was mainly aiming to get selected into Nitte Meanakshi Engineering college, SIT institute of engineering , DR Ambedkar Institute of technology, Acharya Institute of Technology , CMR UNIVERSITY . So First I got CMR college in first round , In second round of counsilling I got into Acharya institute of Technology, I though cuttoff would fall for 3rd round so waited for third round and got into Dr ambedkar institute of technology. I mainly aimed in getting selected into SIT college or Nitte Meanakshi college but cuttoff was higher compared to my Kcer rank . So I got rejected from those colleges .I think colleges I got rejected has more Internship and campus palcement compared to our colleges . I also heard SIT college has compulsory involvment of students in hachathon to attend placement classes . Admission process was simple , after i got selected into college I paid government fees through NEFT and brought the receipt and gave it to college where I also paid 12,000 rs towards college . Mainly students get into college but KCET or COMID-K exams . Generally kcet cuttoff was 18,000 for my cathegory and comidk cuttoff was nearly 20,000 . Mainly students prefer KCET as fees we pay is nearly half comapared to comidk exam fee...Read More

DR AIT (BLR) Pros and Cons

Colleges i applied were- 1. UVCE 2. BMSIT 3, PES Confirmed admissions were from PES Why i chose DRAIT- 1. It was close to my home like just 500 meters away 2 . Affordable since it had less fee compared to PES Rejections- I didnt get admissions in UVCE and BMS since my KCET rank was not eligible since cutoffs were to high. Admission process at Dr AIT- 1. Must have 50% more from 10th and 12th 2 . Better KCET rank with cutoff around 10,000 for CSE 3. Document verification - Submission of 10th,12th marks card, transfer certificates etc 4.
